We loved it!! It was very cozy and had all of the comforts. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in and went to Bellingham for dinners. The hosts were great and the communication was excellent. Thank you for a great stay!
We loved our stay at the chalet - it was very peaceful to watch the trees sway from the giant windows and hear the creek rushing below from the deck. Everything was wonderful! Will return!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Aliza! We are so happy to read that you guys enjoyed your stay at Alpine! We can not wait to host you again!
Arrived in beautiful settings, green, cozy etcUnfortunately refrigerator was failing. We requested to get ice chest for our food and a discount, so we could stay. Was asked to leave.House feels neglected. No dish rack or dishwasher, lighting in upstairs bedroom was faulty, suitcase rack was broken. Requested a full refund and reloaded our stuff and headed back to Bellevue. What a big disappointment.

Nancy, thank you for your feedback. When the refrigerator issue was reported, we responded immediately and had a technician at the property that same evening. The luggage rack mentioned in your review was also repaired within hours of check-in. We would also like to clarify that our listing clearly states that the property does not include a dishwasher.
Despite our immediate efforts to address the situation, you stated that continuing your stay would require us to provide an ice chest with ice as well as a significant discount for each night of your stay. Otherwise, you stated that you would leave and expected a full refund, including the night you had already stayed. We accommodated your decision to leave and ultimately provided exactly that—a full refund for the entire reservation, including your first night.
We take our guests’ concerns seriously and always strive to do the right thing. The refrigerator has since been replaced with a brand-new unit, and the issue is fully resolved. We stand behind the prompt, good-faith efforts we made to address your concerns.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the unique chalet and loved everything about it! The house had everything we needed, the bed is very comfortable, and we enjoyed playing some of the games that were there. It was quiet and woodsy, and beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was having to check out.
This is a cozy and lovely cabin with a wood stove and creek out front for great ambiance. There is a convenience store about a mile away and a trailhead a short walk down the road. It is at the edge of a neighborhood but still feels very private. The stairway to the entrance and inside to the bedroom could be an issue if mobility is a challenge. The kitchen is well-equipped and the fridge is nice. Everything feels very updated but still rustic and charming. We loved it so much we even extended our stay because we didn't want to leave!
This is a beautiful place--we loved the ferns and the sounds of nature! It was nice to relax on the deck. The kitchen is well stocked with plates/glasses/pans/etc. Please be careful coming down from the loft, there is a low ceiling and my 5'4" forehead carelessly found it.Overall, the place was very clean--the bathroom was clean, the carpets are in great shape, the floors were clean. I knocked it down a point because the baking sheet wasn't clean (to be fair, previous guests hid it in the oven) and the washer/dryer is in a closet, so the washer doesn't get adequate time to dry out after use and is a bit musky.
