Thuis aan Zee is a stylish apartment in Tortuga Apartments, right on the Kralendijk shoreline. Enjoy wide ocean views from the balcony and beautiful sunsets almost every evening. With two bathrooms, an open kitchen with built-in appliances and a comfortable living room, it’s a great base for couples or a small family wanting to explore Bonaire.

Thuis aan Zee is a spacious 110 m² apartment in Tortuga Apartments in the Kralendijk area. From the balcony you have direct sea views. Zhung Kong supermarket is 2900 meters away, Chachacha Beach 900 meters, restaurant Cuba Compagnie 450 meters and dive center Dive Friends Yellow Submarine 1000 meters. The apartment is located on the third floor by US counting, and the complex offers a regular shared swimming pool.

As a guest of Thuis aan Zee, you have access to the entire apartment, including both bedrooms, two bathrooms, the open kitchen, the living room and the balcony. You can also use the shared facilities of the complex, such as the swimming pool and on-site parking. To warmly welcome our guests and provide explanations about the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange a meeting time with you for your check-in.

The Kralendijk center area features the boulevard, piers, sailing and motor boats on moorings and colorful facades: here you are right between restaurants, bars, boutiques and the starting points of various boat trips, including sunset tours and the water taxis to Klein Bonaire. It’s ideal if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy strolling along the boulevard at night. For divers and snorkelers, Playa is a great base thanks to quick access to west coast sites; for foodies and shoppers, this is the place to be. Expect liveliness, convenience and the shortest travel times to all facilities in Bonaire’s main town, Kralendijk.

Thuis aan Zee in Kralendijk is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire has so much more to offer than just the immediate surroundings. With your own car you can explore the entire island at your own pace, from remote snorkeling spots to local restaurants. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park a pickup truck or SUV is recommended, as the roads there are unpaved and can be rough. There is no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on busy cruise ship days.

Check-in is from 3PM and check-out by 10AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible on request, depending on other reservations. Smoking and pets are not allowed in our accommodations, and we kindly ask you to keep noise levels down at night. Enjoy your stay at Thuis aan Zee!
