This huge log cabin was perfect for our family of eight. We enjoyed the fishing pond, walking trails, the family grille area, and all the extra supplies. The sauna and hot tube were an extra added bonus. Sitting on the deck overlooking the property while sipping coffee in the morning was so relaxing. The hosts were fantastic. Very kind and quick to respond. We will definitely return!
This place is awesome. So incredibly clean, beautiful location, great amenities, lots of space, very easy to talk to the host AND the host is incredibly considerate. Would absolutely book again
We had an amazing time. The place is great! Brandi and Kevin are great hosts. The place is perfect to stay for a gameday weekend. I'd be happy to stay there again!!
We had an amazing time at the Big Ponderosa. The cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed fishing and walking around the property. Check-in was so easy and Brandi, our host, was so helpful. We will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to our family and friends.
3 generations of family had a wonderful stay for Family weekend at University of Tennessee Knoxville and will definitely be returning! The space was a perfect getaway and super easy and quick getting to a from campus.
Beautiful cabin! Clean and well appointed. I wish the coffee maker wasn’t so small. There were 10 of us and it took over 3 pots for everyone to have a cup. I also wish the “pavilion” had been cleaned and had more comfortable/newer seating. I also wasn’t aware there was no music outside. We have a singer/songwriter among us who typically serenades us. So that was disappointing.
This place was wonderful. Cabin was perfect, we enjoyed all the fall decorations and porch! Listing was accurate. House was very clean and kept up well. Will definitely be back !
They stay at the ponderosa was wonderful, peaceful and a great get away to relax. The accommodation where great as well as the cleanliness. Huge yards to have the kids play and enjoy the nature trails.

The cabin has large rooms, perfect for a group of family members or friends. It is clean and the kitchen has helpful appliances. The porch and family room are perfect for hanging out and chatting. The game room was a huge hit with all ages. I recommend it 100%.
Such a unique and beautiful property. The owners were great with communication and have thought through every detail you can imagine in the home to ensure everyone’s stay is hassle free and enjoyable. Feels like your far away from everything on a farmland oasis, yet only a 15 minute drive to campus and downtown Knoxville. We hope to visit again soon!
Kevin & Brandi have curated a beautiful cabin. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all of the amenities available for our use. We loved the Hot Cocoa station and thought the welcome note was such a sweet touch :) There was so much space for our family to relax, and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the cabin. We made lasting memories celebrating the newest Doctor in our family and can't thank Kevin and Brandi enough for hosting our family.
We were so impressed with everything about this cabin. The cleanliness and hospitality was off the charts. The location is perfect. 15 minutes away from all that Knoxville has to offer just a 45 minute drive from Dollywood. You avoid all the crowds and craziness of the theme park and have a quiet, relaxing retreat to go to at the end of the day. We can’t recommend this place enough. We had a wonderful trip!
I was so surprised to enter the cabin to find the Christmas tree lit! Everything was decorated and so welcoming! Each room’s fireplace was lit and bedrooms were decorated. There was even a stocked hot chocolate bar! It was amazing! It felt like home.
