The Villa African Queen has a unique and magical soul. It has a warm and tropical atmosphere. With its large open spaces, its giant 28-meter-long swimming pool and its view of the lagoon and the sea.
The house hosts 8 guests in 4 independent suites divided into 3 houses on the property.

There is an extra independant studio for 2 (on demand).

Its location is ideal! It is only a few meters from the beach of Grand Cul de Sac where you can practice water sports, find beach restaurants, bars, spa, etc.

The Space:
The African Queen has an incredible atmosphere. With its view on 3 different waters (lagoon, sea and giant pool), its beautiful garden and its big property of 3800 ft2, it provides large open spaces. Its architecture is unique, far from the geometric decks and turquoise square pools, the house totally melts it’s in natural environment. The amazing point is its 90ft long free form rock edged pool that links the living areas to the guest cottage. The largest private pool on the island!

This house has many influences. Decorated by artists, this villa was a real artistic project. It is therefore frequented by artists, singers, actors, writers, celebrities of all kind in search of charm and originality.

Its organic materials, it's warm earthy colors, it's water cascades, all contribute to the feeling of being at one with nature which does not compromise a high level modern comfort: the African Queen is fully equipped; full cable channel, canal + and the Dish for all the US channels. There is wi-fi internet everywhere, a Bose wireless sound system , safes in all rooms, air conditioning to living and sleeping areas, a large, private, and easily accessible car park at the end of the gravel driveway.

Grand Cul de Sac is a tranquil area in the northeast of Saint Barthélémy. It is very popular with families and travelers seeking peace and quiet, thanks to its calm, shallow and clear waters.

The bay is protected by a coral reef, which is well worth seeing up close for its diverse and colorful marine flora and fauna. This makes Grand Cul de Sac an excellent spot for snorkeling, where you can appreciate the ecosystem of a still-intact coral reef.

In addition to its serene environment, Grand Cul de Sac is also an exceptional beach for a wide range of water sports, including paddleboarding, windsurfing and jetskiing. A unique experience in Grand Cul de Sac is to swim alongside sea turtles, just a few minutes' walk from the Villa African Queen.

You'll also find a number of upscale hotels, including the Guanahani, the Sereno and Le Barthélémy & spa, ideal for booking a spa, massage or waterfront lunch/dinner.
