Villa Roc e Mar is a new sophisticated 3 bedroom villa located in Toiny, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of St Barts. With 180 degrees of ocean-view, you can spot St Kitts and Nevis in the far. From the villa you can reach Toiny beach by a small path and the exclusive and popular Hotel Toiny is very close.

The sophisticated looking villa has a gentle modernist design - classic and beautiful. The villa is designed around a large rectangular infinity pool and an expansive terrace. The main building consist of a large hallway, living area, dining area, a modern and sleek kitchen, guest toilet, laundry, master bedroom with dressing room, bathroom and a large outdoor shower. The building has large panoramic windows and sliding doors that opens up to the terrace and pool area. A perpendicular second building houses 2 guest bedrooms with King size beds and adjacent bathrooms also with large panoramic windows and sliding doors facing the pool area.

The interior of Roc e Mar is equally sophisticated and refined with finished ceilings, central air conditioned through cornices with no apparent vents or machinery. Decorations include three wooden 19th century Chinese antique Buddhas, large scale contemporary paintings, ceramics and a curio cabinet. The high tech house features Wi-Fi and flat screen TVs in every bedroom and in the living area. There is also a Sonos sound system in the living area and terrace.

The Villa is rented like a Hotel, per bedroom, 2 people per bedroom. There is an extra charge for each person beyond the first 2. If you are 3 people and you like 3 bedrooms you have to order the Villa for a minimum of 5 people.

Villa Roc e Mar is managed locally and the manager can take you from the airport (SBH) or Gustavia harbor to the Villa. He can also act as your personal concierge. Maid service is included daily except Sundays and Holidays.

The house was stunning, clean and beautifully finished. The view cannot be described in words, it’s incredible from inside and outside the home. The nearby Toiny hotel and beach club was also fantastic, so many great experiences while on the island. Would definitely stay at this property again

Roc e Mar is a stunning villa, with one of the most breathtaking views on the island. It was perfectly appointed with everything we needed during our stay, and Francois, the property manager, did a wonderful job answering any questions we had. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Vacation in Paradise!

Perched on a hill in a lovely neighborhood with breathtaking views, steps away from Toiny beach and a lovely island walkway, Roc E Mar is paradise! This setting is a quick ride to Saline Beach and walking distance to the Grand Ford Beach trail to the 'The Washing Machine.' The house and pool are even more lovely than the pictures online and the staff is amazingly helpful. I would certainly return to Roc E Mar for another fabulous stay!

We LOVED this home!

The pictures don't do it justice! This home is spectacular and we want to come back next winter! The pool and views make this property. We also found the kitchen and bedrooms and baths to be all well appointed and very clean. The property manager and daily maid were above and beyond wonderful. Our only note for future renters is think about renting a 4 wheel drive car because the driveway is steep and our initial rear drive car skidded getting into the gate/parking but was fine after we swapped it out for a 4-wheel drive Jeep. Island breezes on the quieter side with amazing views.

It seemed the owners thought of everything to make this a stellar and memorable stay on our first visit to St. Barthelemy. All of the rooms, the beds, the kitchen, the pool were absolute perfection. A great VRBO rental I would recommend to anybody. I appreciated the view of the mountains and sea from the living room window every morning. It was quieter and safer driving on this side of the island too. Wonderful housekeeping. Francois, who met us at the airport and helped to orient us to everything, could not have been more responsive. Again, I would recommend Roc E Mar villa to everyone. Thank you!!

A magical experience

This beautiful Villa checked every box. The views speak for themself but it was truly breathtaking with each sunrise! Lots of space to move about freely with ample outdoor space for lounging. The beds and bedding were perfection with amazing pillows (hard to find on this island). Kitchen was fully stocked, Sonos and WiFi had zero interruption's, tons of closet space too. My family and I had a hard time leaving this home and cannot wait to return. Thank you Goran for letting us enjoy your home. And to Francois who was prompt to answer any questions we had. Not good at all

The AC never worked right, and was unable to cool the house. We were told it was out of gas, and then that it was an island issue but it ruined our vacation. If the AC is not equipped to handle the home, it should be updated, as we paid a lot of money for this home for 5 nights. Would not recommend this home because of that.

Beautiful Views, But Not Ideal for Young Kids

We recently stayed at this property with our kids aged 2 and 5 and had a mixed experience. The house has a lot going for it, but it also comes with a few drawbacks—especially for families with small children.Pros:The large windows and terrace offer stunning views of Anse ToinyGreat location if you are looking for something on the Côte Sauvage, but still easily connected to thingsThe master bedroom is spacious and comfortableCar park is large and easy to get in and out ofInfinity pool had great viewsCons:The layout isn’t great for families with young kids. The rooms are only accessible from the outside via the pool area, which isn’t ideal for safety There’s no bathtub, which made bath time a bit tricky for our little one, although they both loved showering outside.The master bedroom's outdoor shower had very low water pressure, which was frustratingKitchenware is quite worn—many pots and pans are scratched, especially the Teflon ones, and could use replacing. Lots of mismatched cups; overall just looks like an accumulation of stuff over the yearsThe house is very exposed on Toiny Bay, so the terrace gets quite windy. As a result, the pool was a bit cold on some days—but the breeze did help keep mosquitos awayOverall:The house has great bones and a beautiful setting, but it’s starting to show signs of wear. It would be perfect for adults or families with older kids, but less suited to those with younger children.

Great villa to get away from it all

Our experience at the villa was overwhelmingly positive but there are one or two things worth knowing in advance. On the positive front the villa has everything you might want. The views are stunning and never get old. The pool is a generous size and has equally amazing views. The villa is spacious, well equipped and clean. Kitchen really well appointed, WIR lovely, sofas and dining table etc all in great shape and spacious. Overall we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and to recommend it to anyone who wants to be a bit shielded from the often crazy nature of the island. There are however a couple of things any renter should be aware of. (I) the villa is on the other side of the island so it is quiet. You’ll need a car and, apart from one resort, there’s nothing in walking distance. This was fine for us and the distances on the island are short. Everything is 15 mins away maximum. (II) the location can be quite windy and wild. Again didn’t bother us for our stay in June but there was significant wind which we didn’t experience in Gustavia or St Jean (III) you need to watch the maid carefully with your clothing. She is lovely but ruined a few of our pieces of clothing by taking them and washing them at high heat making them shrink. She is also not great with security, leaving the villa unlocked on multiple occasions when she departed (IV) finally, and I’m sure not all the owners fault but visitors need to be aware the internet on the island but particularly in the villa is very unreliable. Whilst we weren’t there for work I did try to join a couple of zoom meetings but was unable to hold a reliable connection. Signal drops frequently making watching streaming video difficult. Overall however these are minor points in what was a really positive experience with the property.

Beautiful Villa that is BETTER than the pictures!

We enjoyed out week long stay at Villa Roc e Mar. The property is beautiful and better than the photos. The negative edge pool blends into the surrounding Anse de Toiny. Everything is well kept, and our host Francois was helpful with everything we needed. The villa is in Toiny which is on the southeast area of the island. Each morning you will see the surfers waiting to catch a ride. Everything in the house is comfortable, the kitchen is nicely appointed to cook any meal. Its about a 15 /20 minute drive to Gustavia. A car is mandatory! Both the owner and host made the visit easy with excellent communication. A housekeeper worked daily and the place was immaculate. I'd recommend the villa to friend and family and we can't wait to return.

Breathtaking Views

Roc E Mar is breathtaking and certainly one of the most special places my husband and I have stayed. The views are spectacular. As soon as you walk through the front door you see nothing but a vast ocean. Through the large window, you can enjoy watching the rolling waves and the surfers from afar. The pool is gorgeous! The home is spectacular inside. The furnishing are nice and the kitchen modern with everything you need to cook or grill. Sidewalks make it easy to get to the beach and the nature trails from the villa. Gustavia and St. Jean are only a short drive away. I would suggest renting a car while you’re on the island. Roc e Mar is a gem. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

Just so lovely!

So very happy to have had an opportunity to experience and enjoy this enormously lovely villa! The setting is stupendous with wonderful ocean views all around. Amazing villa!

Our family of five enjoyed 10 days over the holidays. We could not have been more happy with our vacation. The villa is everything described and more. The views are incredible, the space is nicely laid out so everyone had plenty of room and their own space. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals at the villa. The bathrooms are spacious. We had a seamless arrival and departure and the caretaker and staff at the house were helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend to others!

To find St Barts, we kept sailing and exploring most of the Islands in the Lesser Antilles. After a long time in finding St Barts we kept returning and we never looked back. It is a beautiful place where you feel welcome which makes it a unique experience in the Caribbean.
