In the area, there are local hikes, many wonderful restaurants, interesting historic sites Like the old Mariposa Courthouse, the old stone jail, the mining and mineral museum, the state mineral exhibit, and Yosemite zip lines. Nearby where you can enjoy visiting the town of oakhurst, Bass Lake, McSwain, Bagby river and the old town of Hornitos. There is a park above town to take the kids, and above it is a tennis court and the town plunge. There is a good size supermarket in town for all your shopping needs, as well as hardware stores, churches, auto stores, pharmacies, clothing shops, etc.… Nothing beats getting out of the city and spending a cozy holiday in our rustic home.
