Check-in was a breeze. Owner was very responsive over the weekend when we had issues with the hot tub. Perfect setup for large families with several toddlers.
We had the best time! Great home in a great location! Host was fantastic!

Great location, nice neighborhood. Place wasn't clean though. I sent a message asking if there was a vacuum so i cld at least clean the floors. Never heard back, granted, it was a holiday weekend. Floors were gross, pet hair in the beds, hair in bathroom floors and toilets haven't been cleaned in a while, they had black streaks and rings
This is a great home with plenty of room for family. Very convenient to Helen, and a short drive to Dahlonega, Cleveland and Athens for a game. It is very peaceful here on the river.
We rented this property for a long weekend for a event going on. Right away after walking in everyone commented how much they liked the property. Everything was clean and comfortable. The walk to downtown is super quick but is not horrible either. We would absolutely stay here again next year when we come.
Clean, quiet, comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. Only complaint, not enough bath towels for everyone, no hand towel in half bath, ran out of toilet tissue early on, overhead light in bottom stairway did not work
We had to change the bulbs ourself. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.

Hi Jerry, thank you for the review. And thank you for changing the bulb, we did not know it was out.
This place is wonderful!! Our family enjoyed it. The fact that we could walk to town was nice. One of members had never been to Helen before and is now excited to come back. The house was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen except a “good knife”. 😂. Definitely looking forward to our next stay.
Overall, nice place and great location to town. Home is part of a duplex. Not the easiest with pets as you have to walk up/down a very steep hill to take dog to bathroom. Disappointed with inside amenities with some outlets not working, a light out, a bed with no sheets, and other little things.

The unit was clean and nicely decorated. There were several electrical issues. The light switch in the upstairs bedroom is shorting out and didn’t work most of the time and this is the bedroom on the backside of the house. Both outlets in the bathroom for this bedroom didn’t work at all. The ceiling fan in the other upstairs bedroom didn’t work at all. Most of the night lights didn’t work which is a safety issue. In the bedroom area down stairs that really isn’t a bedroom there were No outlets, no bedside table no place to hang clothes and no bathroom. The description for this unit lead one to believe that there was 4 bedrooms and 4 baths which is not the case. This unit was just ok. But it is not one that we would use again and I think Vrbo is shirking its responsibility by not inspecting these units ENTIRELY before listing them.
We stayed here for almost a week around thanksgiving. The house was nice. Be prepared, it is at the top of a hill so walking to the trash can/driving is interesting. The house was decently clean (baseboards, floor around fridge, etc could use a wipe down). I took off a star because the light going into the basement was out and since the kids room is in the basement, they did not like going down the stairs in the dark. There was no comforter/sheet on the top bunk bed and the ceiling fan in the smaller upstairs room didn’t work. Otherwise, the house was as advertised and we had a great visit.

Our family stay
To whom it may concern,
Our stay at this duplex complex was disappointing. The accommodations were advertised as having direct access to the Chattahoochee Creek. Upon arrival, we found that the only way to access the water was via trespassing or by utilizing the water park grounds, which were a 5 to 10-minute walk away. Additionally, the duplex was labeled as pet-friendly but there were no grassy areas that our dogs could safely access within a 5 to 10-minute walk. This necessitated that our dogs use flower beds with mulch to attend to urgent business. The remaining outdoor seating areas were in very unkept standings. There were bird nests, extensive spider webs, and a large accumulation of leaves and debris on the two available decks. These areas had not been cleaned in a very long time and required that we clean them ourselves before use. Most frustratingly of all, the duplex advertised a hot tub on the bottom level which was locked and deemed unusable due to a missing handrail on the deck. We were not notified of this until departure for our stay which was after the cancelation window had passed. Had we received previous notification of this complication we would have elected to stay somewhere else as this was one of the features that were deemed a requirement by our booking party.
The duplex itself was fully furnished but was cluttered with excessive decor items that had to be moved to use the space. There were many food items left behind in the fridge, including alcohol
