About this property
Well Appointed House on a Secluded Sandy Beach Cove - West Shore - Sebago Lake
This very spacious, centrally heated three bedroom house is 60 feet from the lake with lawn opening onto a secluded sandy beach cove. In the Fall, it is very private with vivid colors and spectacular views of the ever changing Sebago Lake. Two Kayaks are included in the rental
The living area has an open layout: living area (working fireplace) - dining area - well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. There is central heating, pine floors and paneling throughout. We supply bed linens. Master bedroom has queen-sized bed, and the two other bedrooms have twins. The living area has a sectional couch and one queen sized futon. The bathroom has a shower tub that is great for bathing toddlers. Also a utility bath and washer/dryer on the ground floor. A gas grill, fire pit and picnic table are provided on the patio. Cable and wireless hi-speed internet connection are included. Maximum occupancy of 8 persons
September and October is the best kept secret at Sebago Lake. Warm days and cool nights and very quiet. In September, the lake is still warm enough for swimming. The leaves begin to turn and scenery is beautiful. A great time for hiking, kayaking, golfing, or just relaxing in the sunshine on the beach with a book or in front of the fireplace in at night. You can even watch the eagles nesting on outer island (1/4 mile away by boat or kayak) or fish for the small mouthed bass off the rocks in the cove as well as land locked salmon and lake trout further out.
It is 45 minutes from Shawnee Peak; 1 hr from North Conway NH shopping and the White Mountains.
As we have many repeat renters each year to whom we give first preference, we do not know availability for July and August 2020 until December of this year.

About the host
Hosted by Liz Kelly
My parents bought the original Maine property in 1954, which included a house on the water and a guest house behind it up on a hill overlooking the lake. My brothers and I had the opportunity to buy a large amount of contiguous property around the original homestead in 1977, including Lone Pine. We live full time in a home that we built that is adjacent to it on the cove. We take pride in the way we have appointed Lone Pine and continually upgrade it.
Why they chose this property
This house is within a family compound owned by myself and my two brothers. Lone Pine is directly on our sandy beach cove and is wonderful for small children as well as adults.
