This was our second time staying at the Resort and it did not disappoint! We loved being so close to the water and were able to fish multiple times a day. The cabin was perfectly suited for the two of us!

Found Lazy Oaks online and it was a great getaway. Nice cozy cabin and fireplace. Location was great. Ray booking and check in and out was a breeze.

Elms Cabin the poor relative

Property was clean!!! but refrigerator had a cracked bottom shelf and refrigerator came on every 20 minutes (it seemed). Leather couch and two small table chairs were unsatisfactory, side table had a broken drawer. Door stoop had raised nailheads and screen door did not easily open fully. BUT this is a great location that needs a makeover. At least the ELMS.

Pros: It was a nice, scenic site and everyone staying in the other cabins were good guests. The cabin and site was one of the cheapest options available. The owners/managers of the property were very responsive when we had questions, and quickly responded when I called about the TV remote batteries being dead.Cons: The cabin was a little older and more worn down than we expected from the pictures. Some of the screens need to be repaired and while the cabin overall was clean, it would be nice if they cleaned the spider webs out of the windows periodically.

The cabin was small but enough for two. The lake is very pretty but not very clean. I wouldn’t swim in eat or eat fish caught in it. It was a very quiet stressless place.
