Besides playing in the sand and surf, the best part of a beach vacation is enjoying the view when you can't be in it! You'll enjoy that view from our oversized private balcony. We have seating for alfresco meals on the balcony, tile throughout the condo, family-friendly, beachy furnishings, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms with tub/shower combos. The resort amenities at Saida include multiple pools and hot tubs, poolside drink and snack palapas, tennis courts, and direct beach access with a rinse station. Welcome to Saida Towers, South Padre Island's premier beachfront social resort. It has 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, a kiddie pool, an outdoor drink and snack bar, tennis courts, a shuffleboard court, and direct beach access. All this is wrapped in tropical grounds bordered by award-winning restored dunes and white-sand beaches. Seasonally, there are on-site rentals for tennis and shuffleboard equipment and chair and umbrella rentals on the sand. Saida Towers is within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants, and activities. Saida Towers has everything you look for in a beachfront resort rental.

All reservations with stay dates from March 4th to April 4th require a one-time per-person Resort Fee of $33.

The resort fee will be applied to the reservation and paid with the final payment 30 days before arrival.

Great location and great property management company--Padre Island Rentals--they sent excellent communications to help plan our vacation and make check-in and check-out a breeze. Beautiful location

We enjoyed staying at Saida towers for the pools and close proximity to beach. The unit itself was spacious but did not feel very clean, especially the kitchen. The kitchen needs a deep clean and a restock of cookware. We would have appreciated a few more towels for our 5 day stay as exchanging at welcome center is not convenient when you don’t have a car. Overall the property was a good fit, most downfalls were related to the rental management (housekeeping and towels).

Great beach access but walls are paper thin

Good overall, condo is dated and kitchen does not have utensils we needed. Expected more for the price. Parking is not great. Did not like having to go pick up towels every day between 11am and 2 pm. Leave a tip and take extra towels is needed. Patio view was nice and access to the beach was good. Check out at 11 am is firm and inconvenient.

Carol, Thank you for choosing our condo for your stay, I am happy to see that overall you had a great time. I am sorry if there were any items in the kitchen that were missing. I have done a thorough check and made sure the condo is restocked. We issue two parking permits but understand parking can get full and you may not find a space right outside of your condo. The large gated parking always has enough space so you don't have to park off site. The free towel and linen exchange we offer is guaranteed to be open from 11am to 3pm, but it is actually open from the time our housekeeping department arrives until they leave for the day. We are happy to offer this service to our guests as an added benefit, most vrbo listings don't offer any services like this. Our 11am check out time is one hour past the standard 10am for most Vrbo rentals but we understand that our guests want to fully enjoy their last morning walking the beautiful beach. Cleanliness is very important to us, in this condo we take 4 to 5 hours to clean, sanitize and set up for the next guest so we do need the full time to clean from 11 am to 4 pm. Thank you for choosing our condo for your stay, it was a pleasure to host you and your family. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit to South Padre Island.

Areas of disrepair

At quick glance, this is a nice clean place. However, in one of the rooms only 1 of the 4 lights worked. The ceiling fan light chain was in a drawer so we couldn’t turn it on with the switch. The ceiling looked like there was water damage in several places throughout, when flushing the master toilet a bubble of sewage-smelling gas came up in the other toilet. The shower doors kept falling off and jamming to the point where I fixed them 3-4 times. View was beautiful, and access was great. The place just needs some tlc.

we enjoyed the ocean view

We had a nice stay at our condo. The deck was spacious and gave a great view of the ocean. Disappointed that the weather was overcast most days with foggy haze, maybe it always is this time of year? The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bathrooms were rather outdated. The bathroom sink counters were too low and the tub/shower enclosure was old but the showerhead gave a good wash. A bit inconvenient as well to drive to get fresh linens during the week, a washer and dryer would have been nice to have available for wet beach towels and clothing. Also note- we dropped a glass bottle of orange juice out out of the fridge, It shattered on the floor. We went to clean it up, and the grill on the bottom of the fridge popped off, there was an enormous amount of bugs crawling under the fridge. We cleaned it up best we could, but probably need an exterminator as there were black bugs on the bathroom floors, and ants, as well as on the kitchen counter, we kept all all our food in the fridge to keep them out of our food. The pools and hot tubs were nice but not maintained well, one hot tub nearest to us was not functioning. Another one had only two jets working, and another was ice cold. We thought one of the pools was heated, but none of them were warm. The patio furniture and lounge chairs were nice and plentiful. We had a fun time, but some things could have been a bit better!

Good Condo, missing some important things.

The condo was in a great location. It was really close to the beach and close to anything you’d need off property (groceries, supplies, etc). For the price of the property you would think it would have had laundry in the condo, even a cheap double stack but there was not and the whole area is under a coin shortage so it was difficult to get enough quarters to do several loads of laundry. The property managers are a couple miles away, so if you need anything you have to drive there to get help. The coffee pot was broken and we had to drive to the office to get a replacement. The check in process was not fun. We got there at 11pm and checked in only to find out that traffic was crazy and we had to drive to get to our condo. Not a bid deal, we just didn’t know and we’re tired after driving 22 hours to have to fight traffic to get from check in to the condo. Also, the fees for the rental were significant. There were no housekeeping services at all during the stay. We had to drive back to the welcome center to get towels and had to pay a fee to swap linens. All in all it was a good condo. Given the fees, cost, and lack of services I don’t know that I’d rent it again but it was a good condo in a great location.

Great condo!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice, clean, and the patio had a great beach view. The check in/out process was simple. I liked how we didn’t have to return any keys to checkout, and checkout on the door keypad. We stayed March 9-13th. I was worried the beach and condo would be packed with spring breakers, but it was not crowded and very peaceful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The pool was perfect and the beach access was amazing plus our beach view from the balcony. We did have a small problem with ants inside the kitchen and the sofa sleeper falls in at one side but over all was a solid four. The location is really what had us. We will definitely look into vacationing here again.

Fall beach trip
