Had an awful experience, we checked in late, arrived at the apartment to find out that the apartment was very dated, there weremarks of mould everywhere, so they over use these house scents to probably camuflate the normal apartment smell, then internet was not working, then there was a leaking on the bathroom ceiling right above the toilet , so we could not do our things without getting wet.
We called the owner and as soon as we told what happened the line conveniently dropped and she did not answer her phone any more.
We then called Expedia and they managed to call the owner and transfer the call to us. We asked if they could fix things or if they could reimburse us and let us check out to find another apartment.
Her short answer was no refund and that she would send someone on the following day to fix things.
A guy came on the following day, took some pictures and left. Nothing was fixed we had to remain in the place without internet with the leak and had to find out other things like the bath tap was lose from the wall, the building is really noisy and you can hear everything … the first night we slept with the sex background noise of the room next door ..
what supposed to be a family holiday to celebrate my birthday became a trip to hell !
Being a host ourselves we found very disrespectful not being upfront with what you actually offer! Don’t let the photos fool you like it did to us!
