About this property
Riverfront Cottage Close To Washington, Bath And Belhaven!
Discover the inner banks at the Pamlico Social Club. Our sweet little river cottage has historic charm with updated modern amenities. We're banking on you loving our beautiful river views & pier updates. On the street side, we are bordered by a mature pecan grove and have views of the adjacent inlet. Sleeping accommodations include two bedrooms, one with king size bed. The larger bedroom has a queen bed, & a bunk bed. Our living room has a mega comfortable 8 foot couch. Our kitchen facelift includes great cabinets & we are especially stoked about our brand new dishwasher. If it's a fishing expedition you have in mind, we have a great pier and boat dock. Test the waters and venture out after the fall run on striped bass, water ski, catch crabs from the pier, or just sit on the porch and take in the river view. We recommend that you shop at nearby Piggly Wiggly & test the fine cuisine at The Bank Bistro and Bar on Main Street or Washington Crab Shack. Explore all little Washington has to offer.

This is my fourth time staying at the property. I had a wonderful time. And, as always, the river front property was clean, well maintained. and exactly as described. I look forward to staying there again!
We loved our stay here! The house was super clean, homey and well stocked. Although, we visited as a couple, there was plenty of comfortable seating and I could see where a larger group could also be comfortable. There were beautiful views of the river and the sunsets were gorgeous. We especially loved watching the sunsets from the dock. Check in was easy as well as check out. This has been our best vrbo visit! We can't wait to stay there again.
Check-in was easy. Communication with the owner was pleasant and questions were answered quickly. The house was well-stocked with all the kitchen and bath necessities. I'm a prepper so I always bring bath tissue and paper towels. I didn't really need to because there were plenty of both available at the house. A grocery is a short driving distance along with plenty of good restaurant choices.Walking in the door I knew to immediately go straight to opening the drapes for the wonderful view of the river and pier. All our time was spent fishing from the pier. We thoroughly enjoyed the fight of catching the stringrays, skates, and gar. We were surprised by a bluefish catch. You just never know what you'll get. The weather cooperated and we had such a great time. We hope to return for another great run at fishing and spending time in Washington. Many thanks to the owners!

Beautiful view. Left it much better than we found it. The rugs were dirty and need a thorough vacuum. The one in the kitchen wasn’t picked up during the last cleaning so there was dirt underneath. One of the bedroom doors doesn’t close properly. The toilets do not work correctly and could easily be fixed with a 15 part from the hardware store. A handwritten note in marker tells you to hold the handle instead of just repairing it. The cooking utensils were plastic and peeling, one of the frying pans was put back in the pantry dirty and there was a pair of toenail clippers in the silverware drawer. The beds have to be made upon arrival, which was not disclosed. Upon reading other reviews the reason is Covid but Covid doesn’t live on fabric so that makes zero sense, especially if the pans aren’t clean. They ask you to do the dishes when you leave, so how are they confirming they are clean before the next guests arrive? The only bed pillows are decorative so plan to bring your own. There has been no maintenance to keep up with the salt air so the water fixtures are clogged and the pressure is mediocre. The toilet brush is sitting on a dinner plate in the bathroom.
This cottage was excellent. My husband and I were very comfortable in this cozy home. The home was clean, and had plenty of paper products. The kitchen was well equipped, and we lacked for nothing. The owner provided great information, and excellent communication. We had a very relaxing stay, and spent a lot of time on the dock soaking in the wonderful views.
We highly recommend this beautiful home! Great place to relax! Clean, well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and amazing sunsets! Excellent communication with host.
Beautiful little house right on the Pamlico River. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Check in was quick and easy. Beautiful views from the sunroom and the private dock. We very much enjoyed our stay
