About this property

Coastal Maine Fairway Cottage-near beaches, restaurants, golf, hiking, and more!

This is a two or three bedroom well maintained private home. The master suite has its own full bathroom. The second bedroom sleeps 3 with a set of bunks and a twin bed. The third 'swing' bedroom (can also serve as a den/TV room) has a double futon. There is an additional full bathroom. There is a washer/dryer, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and all the modern conveniences of home (including lobster pot!). Also, a gas grill at the back deck area.
There is a back deck that looks out to the 8th fairway of the resort's golf course (available to the public) as well as a lovely and inviting screened in porch.
Every room has a ceiling fan, and there is (propane) fireplace in the living room.
Set overlooking the 8th fairway of the adjacent resort.
Beyond the setting of the resort, you are close to several nearby restaurants and much more. Down the road is the sandy and sprawling Popham Beach, one of the most beautiful in Maine. Also, the historic Fort Popham. Nearby is also Small Point Beach, Morse Mountain, which offers great hiking opportunities, and the prize at the top is the most amazing view of coastal Maine, seeing as far as Portland…quite spectacular!
Other nearby spots and attractions include Bath (known for the Ironworks and museum), Brunswick (home to Bowdoin College and lots of local festival events and live theatre), Freeport (outlet shopping), Wiscasset (known as 'the Prettiest Town in Maine'….and also the best lobeter roll at RED's EATS!), and Boothbay Harbor a little further up.
All in all, the possibilities are endless to enjoy an amazing Maine vacation!

Just perfection

As my mom said “this place is actually perfect”. And I’ll expand - it’s even better than it appears in the listing. Spacious, well appointed, plenty of separate spaces, closed sitting room, screened in porch, comfortable beds. We wish we could have stayed for a month. The convenience of the restaurant and other offerings at Sebasco, a quick drive to Popham. It was just perfection. And the owner was always accessible, able to help with anything and everything, and was especially accommodating and gracious. We will definitely be back.

A perfect cottage for a perfect vacation in Maine

A great setting on the 8th hole of Sebasco Resort golf course is just the beginning of a wonderful experience in this cottage. Plenty of room, lots of sunlight, yet nestled within the pines of Maine. Very clean and comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. A good, open kitchen which was easy to use. All is provided, so just bring yourselves and a desire for fun times. Close to all the amenities of Sebasco Resort as well as Popham Beach, Small Point and several great restaurants. This rental will be hard to beat, anywhere. Ken Wright, North Palm Beach, FL

SPECTACULAR

We just came back from our trip to Maine. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of this cottage. It is not only cheerfully decorated and spotless, the layout is perfect and has everything, from open kitchen and living area, to private bedroom spaces, and a huge amount of closet space. The amenities make everything easy and the view out the back of two sets of glass sliding doors is spectacular. The location is perfect, close to our favorite beach and on the property of a lovely resort. Water water everywhere...... Could not have been better. We'll be back!

A must!!!

Our family enjoyed an amazing week at this lovely home for a week this past July. The house was clean, and fully equipped. The owner was very helpful, and even offered the use of their own bikes during out stay! Having Sebasco Harbor Resort literally in our back yard was fantastic...we played golf several times, and went to a couple of the restaurants there also. A ton of things to do in the area, like Popham beach. We are planning a return trip! Loved it!
