About this property
Surf and Seabirds!
Relax at our cottage at Popham Beach, Maine! Let the sun and the surf wake you and step out for a walk on the beach. The cottage sleeps 6, and rents by the week from Saturday to Saturday. The master has a queen bed and there are 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds. There is room for a port-a-crib in any of the bedrooms. There is TV with cable, a DVD player, and WiFi. We have a screened in eating porch with ocean views, living room, kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, stove and refrigerator, and bathroom with a large walk in shower stall. The cottage is fully equipped with dish towels, dishes, pots & pans, & etc. Our guests usually bring their own sheets and towels, contact the owners if you need them provided.
There is a gas grill, table, umbrella, and chairs on the rear deck, as well as 2 chaise lounges. The deck is 3 low steps from the yard, and the house is 2 steps up from the deck, making it ideal for young children and persons with mobility issues.
This is a cherished family home and we invite you to share it with us. We go to the beach, fly kites, swim, ride bikes, take hikes (Morse Mountain or Fort Baldwin), sea kayak (Sea Spray Kayaks have rentals), golf (Sebasco Resort), and go to the library for social events. A 20 minute drive to Bath takes you to the Maine Maritime Museum and wonderful shopping. Or drive over to the Boothbay region and go to the Maine Botanical Garden and take a ride on a tall ship or a whale watching expedition! Summer at Popham Beach is a wonderful!
