Perfect stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Everything you could possibly need is there (except for food of course). The condo is spacious and and is right on the lake. It was nice having 2.5 baths and the shampoos, conditioners and moisturizers in each one. We enjoyed Sand Harbor, Emerald Bay and the catamaran ride from the Hyatt. It was also fun to walk around Truckee and the Donner Memorial Park. There are grocery stores and tons of restaurants very close. We found the condo in a perfect location as it was near Incline Village, Truckee and of course King's Beach itself. Would highly recommend.

NOT for the Mobility Impaired!

Nowhere is the information that there are 4 flights of steep stairs to get from most of the condos to the pretty picture on VRBO of lawn and beach. Made the lawn virtually inaccessible for me.

We would definitely go back!

We were very pleased with our stay in this rental. It was exactly as described in the listing, a pleasant surprise. The unit was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food "at home" instead of having to go out. The beds were comfortable, showers had good water pressure, and it was overall a very comfortable stay. Grilling and eating on the deck was lovely. There is a pool, but the lake is really just steps away. I LOVED not having to walk a long ways or cross a busy street to get to the water, the private beach access was wonderful. The rental is close to plenty of activities, hiking, dining, and shopping, and there is a grocery store within easy walking distance. The hosts were very easy to work with, and they were kind enough to provide a list of dining and activity recommendations. Honestly, my only complaint is that I had to leave to get back to work.

Great condo at Tahoe Vista

Compact, efficient condo at north end of Lake Tahoe. All amenities are included - owner has obviously worked at providing guests the things you want. Lakefront position with beach just beyond the building complex - great views. All important services available within minutes on main road. Lots of activities in area. Owner email is lengthy and provides you lots of information to help plan your visit.

Not quite as described

So this is a good enough unit in a good enough location in northern Lake Tahoe, but the listing overstates a few things…..The initial photographs and name ‘Tahoe Vista’ all imply that there is a fantastic view of the Lake from the unit. There is not, there is barely any view, maybe if you stand on your tiptoes. There is a private beach, but it is tiny, much smaller than the beaches that the complexes on either side have and the water gets quite scummy when there is lots of pollen in the summer as the beach traps it. There are also some rules that the listing fails to mention. Despite the fact that it is a pay in full on booking no cancellation listing, it fails to mention that a week before you arrive you will be sent a new contract with a set of rules and every adult has to sign separately. Of course if you don’t you can’t stay and you won’t get your money back. And then there is the list of other rules…like don’t use the non stick pans at higher than a medium heat (why bother putting them in the unit if you have to have rules like this?). So like I said it’s a good enough unit in a good enough location just don’t think it’s quite everything the listing implies.
