Privately owned and cared for, the Tahoe Woodside sleeps 4, features; a bedroom with "pillow-top" queen bed and separate bathroom upstairs, downstairs is a full kitchen, dining area and living room. A leather sofa in front of a river rock gas log fireplace opens to a comfortable queen size bed with memory foam mattress. This sought after location is close to all the action yet secluded and private for peace and quiet, just 12 minutes walk to the beautiful beaches on Tahoe’s North Shore and Kings Beach.

Close to Ski Areas: The entrance to Northstar is 10 minutes away, Diamond Peak is 18 minutes, Lakeside Cross Country is 15 minutes, Mt Rose Ski Area is 22 minutes. Rent any ski equipment you need here in Kings Beach and avoid the lines at the rental shop. They allow late returns.

What an enchanting place!! 10/10, no better way to enjoy Tahoe. Everything you need is walking distance, short drive to Northstar. My wife and I will remember our lovely stay here for NYE forever! Lisa is the sweetest host, super helpful. Coming back soon.

The guest house / cabin was perfect for our family. It’s charming and centrally located to everything - a 15 min walk to go kayaking, eat at restaurants and to walk around! Lisa was a great host and came through with a sewing kit for my kid’s stuffed animal that ripped! Crisis averted! We’ll definitely be back for sure!

Absolutely wonderful!

The cabin was exactly as the pictures. We stayed 7 nights and loved every minute. The location is perfect for walking to many restaurants and shops. The beach right down the street. Lisa was most helpful and always available. Would highly recommend.

Comfy getaway

One of the best rentals we have stayed in North Lake Tahoe. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and walkable to Kingsbeach attractions. Clean, comfortable and cozy. Pullout sofa in front of the fireplace was divine. We would return here again next time we are in town.

Great location!

We had a wonderful time. The property is very conveniently located. We were able to walk to the beach and many conveniences. We truly made ourselves at home. The kitchen is very well equipped, laundry detergent was provided, the bathroom had fresh fluffy towels, parking was right in front, and Lisa was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Amazing Cabin!

What a wonderful place and amazing experience! My husband and I spent 10 days at Woodside Cabin. Lisa and John were very inviting and answered all of our questions. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It was close to lake,shopping, and restaurants, but also quietly nestled by a beautiful golf course. It was nice to relax in the backyard and enjoy the beauty of Tahoe.We can't wait to come back and stay at Woodside cabin.

Perfect place for our family's stay in Lake Tahoe

The Woodside cabin was exactly what we were looking for.. from the location in town with restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay and the place is exactly as described. Super clean, stocked kitchen with everything you will need from dishes to pots and pans, including dishwasher and full size washer and dryer. The fireplace and heating were great and kept us cozy at night. We really enjoyed our stay with our kids and the hosts were so welcoming, caring and helpful. We highly recommend staying at the Woodside. Thank you!

Awesome Getaway

Awesome property, inside and out, very clean. The host provided everything we needed and wanted for our stay with well stocked kitchen, appliances, towels, bedding, etc. Loved the coffee beans and had fresh coffee every morning. The back yard was spacious and relaxing with a double swing and grill. Convenient location allowed us to walk to the 9 hole golf course and we had lunch at the golf club. Walked to the beach and went hiking nearby. Close to Safeway. We would stay again.

Cabin was very clean and well equipped. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay on the north shore. Only bummer is it’s not clear in the listing this is an attached dwelling. We have a special needs (gets loud) child and should’ve done more homework to verify that.

Great place!

Lovely chalet, walking distance to Kings Beach and a couple other beaches. Beautiful indoor and outdoor space. Garden has a lovely ski lift swing, table with chairs and umbrella and grill. The hostess, Lisa, is very responsive. fully equipped kitchen. Cool shower with skylight so you can take a shower and see the sky and pine trees. We had a great visit. It’s the listing looks good to you, I totally recommend it.

The Woodside is Charming and Comfortable!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained, and meticulously clean cabin in a beautiful resort community. Very cozy and its tasteful furnishings make you feel right at home. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to make nice meals if you choose to stay in. We loved the quality bed linens and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Stunning pines and firs surround the site and we could walk to the beach. The owners are lovely people who go the extra mile to see that their guests are comfortable and that things are in order. We really appreciated their helpfulness. Guests of any age will enjoy their stay in this wonderful home, which I recommend without reservation.

Nice place, great hosts

This is a nice place, in a safe neighborhood, close to the lake and amenities. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house is rather small and somewhat dark despite the skylights. Although you can sleep 4 if needed, 2 seems more realistic. There is a nice outdoor space with a barbecue and a view on the golf course. I just wish the place had air conditioning. We were there during a heat wave and unfortunately it was often smoky due to nearby fires so we could not open the windows. That left us with a hot cabin and made it hard to sleep at night.

Tahoe Woodside

We had a wonderful week at this cozy cabin tucked into the trees overlooking a golf course! John and Lisa could not have been more accommodating and we couldn’t have asked for a better equipped place for our stay, from a well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and linens to the convenience of having a washer and dryer, and even fresh coffee beans for our morning coffee! A short walk to Kings Beach and if we had wanted, beach towels and chairs to take. Also within a mile is a Safeway for shopping. John and Lisa gave us many suggestions of places to visit and eat, which made it nice for us not being familiar with the area. The property is centrally located for all the things Lake Tahoe has to offer, most of all the beautiful lake and surrounding mountains! Would definitely recommend this comfortable cottage!

Amazing stay!

Lisa and John were the most welcoming hosts! We’ve enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is very nice and cozy, and looks even better in real life then on pictures. It has everything you need for a stay, even the fresh coffee beans, grinder and a coffee maker. The location is also great, with Safeway just around the corner, and the beautiful beach nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at their property. The cabin is stocked with lots of towels, linens and essentials for cooking. You can tell they thought ahead for their guests comfort. Awesome Rental

We really enjoyed our time at Lisa and John's property, they are gracious and accommodating hosts. The unit is just right for two people, and provides plenty of space if you need to "work from vacation rental". The location is great, an easy walk to the golf course and to the beach, with Safeway right around the corner and close proximity to Kings Beach, Brockway and Stateline. Would definitely stay here again (and hope to soon!)

Fantastic place!

The stay was incredible. It is located in a perfect spot of Tahoe in a quiet neighborhood. Lisa and John are so nice and accommodating. They provided some great insight to the area and gave us tips and tricks for the area. They were always just a phone call away with any questions we may have had. It is a place I would like to stay again if we make our way up to Tahoe again.

This sought after location is centrally located to all possible activities that exist at Lake Tahoe yet is privately situated within and surrounded by the Old Brockway Gold Course (built in 1926) which provides for a quiet retreat in a private neighborhood where a person can play, rest, explore, exercise, or work remotely without unnecessary distraction.

What makes this property unique

The land around the property is almost level for convenient access, has over a dozen 100 foot tall pine trees, is actually one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tahoe originally established by George Comstock of Virginia City's famed mother load era. Fully equipped kitchen utensils for cooking great meals inside or outside, with the stainless steel gas barbecue located in the garden patio.
