Overall our experience at this property was good. The house was very clean upon arrival and the host was very nice and responsive. The furniture is dated, the coach was extremely uncomfortable to sit on, the beds are rock hard, and the pillows feel like they are an inch thick, which you can imagine resulted in a terrible night sleep. The linens on the bed were also not comfortable and dated. The house suited our needs just fine for the price we paid just wish it was a little more comfortable.

The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived, no problems at all. The A/C did a remarkable job keeping the house comfortable, we pretty much left it at 74 when we were here. Communication with our host was very good.

David was a wonderful host, responsive to our needs and wants. We were close to where my son lives in Palmetto Bay. Proximity to the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress was a plus. Lots of good restaurants around. Neighborhood was quiet yet alive with Christmas lights and decorations. A really good stay.

Overall the stay was ok. The iron needs to be replaced because something has melted to it. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced because there is a huge stain covering majority of the mattress. Additionally the front door lock takes multiple tries to unlock and took multiple people to try to get the door to open. The rest of the rooms/bathrooms were decently clean.

Perfect Location

We visited several Everglades National Park locations, Biscayne National Park, and Dry Tortuga National Park all from this convenient location. It was clean, well laid out and the neighborhood was quite. Would stay here again.

I enjoy taking the boat out from Black Point just up the road and going to the sand bar or Elliot Key, especially on the weekdays when you can really enjoy nature.
