Family Girl Time

My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday in the mountains in Big Bear. There was just enough snow for some sledding and the cabin was perfect. It was homey, nicely decorated, had everything we needed, and a great location. Close enough to the town but away enough to feel we were in the mountains.

NOT impressed

They do not take care of this property or you because communication with this company is nonexistent. Upon arrival, they did not have the driveway plowed, the house was absolutely disgusting, (ex.) dirty appliance/silverware, filthy beds and unkempt countertops and drawers unclean fire place/broken fireplace. Also would like to add they are lying in this listing claiming it’s 3 bed/3 bath…there is only 3 beds and 2 baths. In one of the bed rooms for children they have a nice bunk bed that has a top bunk that can’t be accessed because the bed is too tall for the bedroom and the roof has a curve that makes it to the equivalent of sleeping in a box in contorted position. 2/10 only because it’s in a beautiful neighborhood.

Inaccurate description

This cabin could be cute, but the description is inaccurate. It is not ultra modern. The kitchen does have new counters and appliances but the cookware is terrible and there was zero glassware (all plastic cups). The housekeeping was not doing a good job.

Good Experience

We’ve had the chance to stayvin this property. It is a fairly small place but cute and cozy. Everything was furnished as advertised. The hot tub was good, however a friend of mine got so sick after one night of using the tub that he was not able to go out the rental for tbe rest of our stay. He believed that the tube water was contaminated and he contracted a bacteria/parasite swallowing the water. Overall I do recommend going there as it is a lovely place.

Not as clean as expected

The house it’s self was good it accommodated my whole family. However upon arrival it was dusty and one of the beds food stains on the quilt and all the bed covers smelled like they haven’t been changed in a while. You do need to bring your down hand wash/ soap bars for the restroom they do not offer that. That is the reason why I gave it 2 stars.
