Spacious And Elegant Apartment Between The Teatro La Fenice And Piazza S. Marco

The area where the apartment is located is very special, in the historical center just behind the famous La Fenice Theatre, a few steps from Campo Santa Maria Zobenigo (Giglio) where along the famous Calle Larga XXII Marzo (full of shops, Griffe and 5-star hotels that overlook the Grand Canal) you get a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The location is central and enviable.
The entrance looks like a typical Venetian entrance, with a scale of Istrian stone.
The apartment consists of a large entrance, two double bedrooms (with possibility of 2 single beds or 1 double bed for each room), two bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with dining room and a large living room with a sofa bed for any two other guests. It is equipped with air conditioning.
The view from the living room is a typical view of a Venetian canal with the passage of gondolas and boats typical of the lagoon.
The apartment has recently been carefully restored and the ceiling beams, as well as the marble floor 'terrazzo veneziano', give this home a touch of sophistication and elegance.

This was a fabulous stay for us. Francesca was a very gracious host, answered all our question and help find tours for us. The place was clean and well stocked. Close to the Grand Canel and all the shopping and restaurants you need. A canal veiw from the room was awesome!

Communication was perfect, made arrangements from airport directly to property and again to train station. Perfect for 4, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, kitchen & living areas. Watch gondalas from bedroom or living area. Beautiful stay!!

Francesca was incredibly helpful and her stay was amazing. The apartment has views of the canal that are stunning. It is a lovely place to come back to after a day of exploring. Close to San Marco square and easy to get to the water bus. Highly recommend.

The perfect place to stay in the heart of Venice

The apartment was much more spacious than expected. With four adults, having two bathrooms was more convenient than expected. The kitchen facilities made for easy, homemade breakfast and snacks during breaks from walking the city. One piece of feedback would be better cooking utensils. Having gondolas and water taxis pass below our windows in the evenings made for enjoyable people watching. Posting pictures didn’t highlight just how spectacular the views were of two main gondola routes.

Amazing Canal Views Near Piazza San Marco

Beautiful large apartment on a quiet side street with canal views from living room and one bedroom. Just minutes from Piazza San Marco, shops and restaurants. Looks even better than the photos online. Highest recommendation.

Our communication and assistance from Francesca was wonderful. She was extremely helpful and efficient. Even with last monuteThe apartment was clean, spacious and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It was very hot in Venice and the air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room felt like heaven! The only sounds are from the boats, gondolas and sweet music and singing as they pass. It was wonderful to watch and listen as we sat along the windows. A very traditional and picturesque experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly. Everything was perfect.

Ideal apartment in an ideal location

This apartment was the perfect amount of space for 5 of us. Our favorite part was the windows overlooking the canal where we watched boats and gondolas going by. Was also very conveniently located near San Marco and very easy walk to almost anywhere on the island. Francesca was very responsive to all correspondence and very helpful with transportation while staying in Venice.

Couldn’t have been better to capture the essence of Venice!

The apartment was everything we expected and more! The location was perfect, close enough to everything, but tucked away to provide a reprieve from the crowds. Listening to the gondoliers sing and play music right outside the window was the highlight of the trip. It was also fascinating to watch all of the boats navigate the narrow channels. Our host was so sweet and made sure that we felt at home, not just guests. I hope we get to come back soon and would love to stay here again!

Picture perfect stay!

We can’t say enough good things about Francesca and this beautiful quintessential Venetian flat! Perfect location right on a canal but far enough from the main tourist areas to maintain peace and quiet. Close to everything and we particularly enjoyed Francesca’s recommendations for restaurants and activities (In her notebook which is located in the flat). She was also very helpful with calling water taxis to the flat when necessary. Thank you and we hope to be back!

Wonderful property in great a rea

Very spacious, clean, well stocked apartment in great location. 10 minute walk to St. Mark's Square. Family of 5 had plenty of room. View of the canal from living room and one bedroom. Check-in and communication were great. Francesca was super helpful with booking water taxis and even helping us figure out a pharmacy/dr for one of our kids. Absolutely wonderful stay and our favorite VRBO of our 3 city trip.

Magical location in spotlessly clean apartment

From our arrival by water taxi, which was mere steps away from the apartment, we were delighted with our accommodation. The views from the lounge room windows were magical as we watched gondolas glide by. The apartment is huge and on a very quiet little side street moments from the action. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We went to al Teatro bar and restaurant around the corner for breakfast and dinner and enjoyed every experience. We would definitely stay here again!

Easy access to San Marco square and Venice attractions

Apartment was very centrally located. Easy access to San Marco square and other Venice attractions. The layout was great for two couples with 2 large bedrooms and two bathrooms though one bathroom was very small. Kitchen was well equipped for our breakfast needs. The canal view was great for watching the gondola boats. The only downfall was the delivery boats that start at 5 am and make a lot of noise. Overall, we would book this apartment again.

A Venetian View

This apartment was centrally located and it was easy to see the main attractions of Venice. We had two couples and there were two large bedrooms and two bathrooms - albeit one was very small. We found morning croissants and cappuccinos within a short walk, and many restaurants for lunch and dinner. Shopping was also a little too accessible! The canal view from the LR was great for watching Venice life including morning deliveries, day long water taxis and afternoon gondola boats. The only down side was the early morning noise from the delivery boats.

Great place!

Francesca is fantastic! Her apartment is spacious and conveniently located. Highly recommend. A couple observations: the front bedroom has the better view but more noise. Lighter sleepers would be better served in the back bedroom. Also, there is no dryer as listed. It is a washer and drying rack. Not a deal breaker at all, just to make you aware. Book this property and enjoy Venice. You'll be glad you did!
