Spacious And Elegant Apartment Between The Teatro La Fenice And Piazza S. Marco

The area where the apartment is located is very special, in the historical center just behind the famous La Fenice Theatre, a few steps from Campo Santa Maria Zobenigo (Giglio) where along the famous Calle Larga XXII Marzo (full of shops, Griffe and 5-star hotels that overlook the Grand Canal) you get a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco. The location is central and enviable.
The entrance looks like a typical Venetian entrance, with a scale of Istrian stone.
The apartment consists of a large entrance, two double bedrooms (with possibility of 2 single beds or 1 double bed for each room), two bathrooms with shower, a kitchen with dining room and a large living room with a sofa bed for any two other guests. It is equipped with air conditioning.
The view from the living room is a typical view of a Venetian canal with the passage of gondolas and boats typical of the lagoon.
The apartment has recently been carefully restored and the ceiling beams, as well as the marble floor 'terrazzo veneziano', give this home a touch of sophistication and elegance.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Francesca hat uns von Anfang an hervorragend unterstützt – das Check-in verlief völlig problemlos, und sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hilfsbereit.Die Wohnung ist unglaublich zentral gelegen, perfekt eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. In wenigen Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß den Markusplatz, den Dogenpalast, mehrere Vaporetto-Stationen, zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte, sogar ein Supermarkt ist gleich in der Nähe.Besonders schön: Francesca hat uns am Abreisetag sogar noch ein Wassertaxi organisiert – ein großartiger Service! Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, den wir nur empfehlen können.

This was a fabulous stay for us. Francesca was a very gracious host, answered all our question and help find tours for us. The place was clean and well stocked. Close to the Grand Canel and all the shopping and restaurants you need. A canal veiw from the room was awesome!

Fantastic location and stay

We had a phenomenal time in Venice. This apartment was perfect for 5 of us (mom and 4 kids (two adults and two minor above age 11)). The location is great 8 minutes walk to St. Marc’s square and Doge Palace. Rialto bridge is 6 minutes walk. We had a window from which we could see gondolas going by and hear the serenades. How much more do you want in Venice? I highly recommend this place.

Our communication and assistance from Francesca was wonderful. She was extremely helpful and efficient. Even with last monuteThe apartment was clean, spacious and in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. It was very hot in Venice and the air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room felt like heaven! The only sounds are from the boats, gondolas and sweet music and singing as they pass. It was wonderful to watch and listen as we sat along the windows. A very traditional and picturesque experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly. Everything was perfect.

Great location, comfortable and clean

We had a very positive experience staying at this VRBO. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, the air conditioning worked great in the hot summer days and the check-in process was seamless. Be aware that one of the bathrooms is quite tiny, but functional. We really enjoyed watching the gondoliers pass by from our canal view and the location was ideal. Francesca was very helpful and provided clear instructions on how everything worked in the apartment, booked water taxis for us, and gave us restaurant recommendations. My only suggestions for improvement are to update the bathroom towels and provide coffee/cream for the early mornings. I highly recommend this apartment for a beautiful stay in Venice.

The perfect place to stay in the heart of Venice

The apartment was much more spacious than expected. With four adults, having two bathrooms was more convenient than expected. The kitchen facilities made for easy, homemade breakfast and snacks during breaks from walking the city. One piece of feedback would be better cooking utensils. Having gondolas and water taxis pass below our windows in the evenings made for enjoyable people watching. Posting pictures didn’t highlight just how spectacular the views were of two main gondola routes.

Wonderful property with a great location. The communication with the owner was flawless. She even arranged a water taxi for us on arrival and departure. It brought us directly from the train station to within 25 feet of the front door with luggage.The apartment was large, on a quiet canal, up one flight of stairs. We could hear the gondola singers as they passed under the window. At night, the apartment was cool and quiet. The bakery just around the corner had lovely espressos and pastries.The property was exactly as advertised, very large, well decorated and well located.

Our host was awesome and very responsive. She made sure we understood everything about the property and gave good suggestions for things to see. The apartment was close to most things we wanted to do and in a nice neighborhood. The water taxi was right at our door and our host arranged for it on both ends of our trip. Having a microwave was nice to have and Kleenex was appreciated so much. A couple of things we would have liked to have had in the apartment were wine glasses and a serrated knife for bread. The mattresses were very comfortable, however, the bedding was pretty but not cozy for sleeping. I would definitely rebook if I were to return to Venice.

Perfect Stay in Venice

Recently my husband and my sister and her husband stayed for three nights in this amazing apartment while in Venice. Our host Francesca provided everything we needed while there including assistance with a private water taxi. She arranged for it to pick us up at the airport and then stop to pick up my family from the train station. She was at the dock to welcome us when we arrived. We had quite a bit of luggage as we were going on to Tuscany for my niece's wedding after Venice and my sister was carrying the wedding dress. Francesca graciously took the wedding dress from my sister's arms and carried it to the apartment. Once there, she showed us around and made sure we knew how to use everything. When we were finished, she walked us to the closest small piazza in front of Teatro La Fenice and recommended a small restaurant there. The location of the apartment was excellent as we found great restaurants nearby and Piazza San Marco was easy to get to. We felt very safe there as well. The beds and linens were comfortable. In addition to Francesca being so helpful with our arrival, from the moment we booked the apartment she was easy to communicate with regarding our trip and and she provided quick responses.Should we return to Venice someday, we will without hesitation want to stay in this lovely apartment.

A magical apartment in Venice.

Our stay was magical. The apartment looks out over the canal and you can watch the gondolas and listen to them sing and play music. Even when we were inside it felt like we were immersed in the Venetian culture. Francesca was amazing, she helped with any questions, was there to greet us and booked all our water taxi needs. The apartment is bright and clean and has everything one needs. Grocery stores, restaurants and cafes are all close. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Loved it, never wanted to leave

This is an incredible place. We could have moved in. Beautifully decorated, clean and the canal views are everything. We spent all the time we were in the apartment at the windows. Francesca was great. Easy to work with and very helpful. One word of warning, the people that stay in the canal bedroom need to be aware that the work boats leave early and can be loud. Not a complaint, this is tbe nature of staying on a canal.
