The lake was on the marsh side. The path was fairly steep down to the dock - there was railing to hold onto but not great for those with bad knees. The view from the house deck was beautiful and the house was very well kept, neat and clean. Plenty of towels and shampoo/soaps in the bathrooms and kitchen supplies. Not a whole lot to do but really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We had a lovely time staying at this property. It was spotless, comfortable and well stocked. We loved the fenced area for our 2 dogs and it was a nice neighborhood for leash walks, as well. The back deck had a good lake view and we had great fun on the 2 provided kayaks. The town beach was perfect for my young grandkids. We would definitely recommend this property and hosts!

The house was exactly what we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dog. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment. The place was very clean and a lot of items were supplied. The kayaks were great to get beyond the lily pads to fish. Fishing off the dock was nearly impossible because of the lily pads but that was expected. We used the beach parking passes for the beach the was down the street which was nice. Overall a really nice stay.

the only issue was all the beds were uncomfortable/hard. If I were to stay again I'd bring a mattress topper, everything else was wonderful.

My 2 dogs enjoyed the home. Open space inside and out.Knox mountain and the Barrens were close and the boys had a great time.I like traveling with pets and this was the best set up yet.My wife enjoyed 4 different wineries in New Hampshire that were short drives from the house. We had evening fires and enjoyed making s'mores.Memories made!! Thank You

Our host and manager made for a very easy and pleasant experience! The house was situated well off the Beaton path and afforded us some much needed time to connect with family and relax. Portland and Kennebunkport are within an hour if you need good food or shopping. Great WIFI if you need to work a bit. The views of the lake are so peaceful and serene with very pretty sunsets!

This property was perfect for our family get away. Booking and communication with host was easy and the house was exactly as pictured. The house was very clean and welcoming. Pillows felt like balloons, one tv very small,worker came and spread salt all over patio which made it difficult to not track everywhere,nothing shoveled, one large frying pan that was not usable non stick gone other than that had a good time with family

Beautiful, clean, and peaceful property! We enjoyed kayaking to the beach and clear, starlit nights by the chiminea.We had amazing warm weather and rented a pontoon for one of the days in nearby Lake Ossipee. For those that are looking to fish, you do need to kayak a bit out to avoid of all the lily pads.

This was my first rental using VRBO. This place was extremely nice as well as the property contact as well as owners I believe!? There was clear contact and upfront instructions. We arrived very late and it was not a problem. Labels made it so much easier to maneuver around the kitchen and rental itself. We would love to stay there again.

Worry free fenced in yard!

So grateful to find a home with a fenced in yard for our two dogs. It made the trip and the stay much easier! The gates on the front porch and deck are a very nice touch!Super clean and had everything we needed and more!Enjoyed watching the geese and turtles in the lake!
