Beach = Happy!!!!

Book with a Local! We live full time in the Gulf Shores, only 10 minutes from this condo, and pride ourselves on taking great care of our guests. The area is awesome and we are happy to take time and share our knowledge.

Do you want an affordable Gulf front vacation with great amenities at low prices? Our Condo is for you! JUST UPDATED New stove, Washer Dryer, and Polywood Patio Furniture! Decorated with tasteful nautical decor throughout, our oceanfront corner unit has panoramic views of the beach and Gulf. There is NOTHING between you and the water... Dig your toes into the sugar white sand and relax, or play in the pool! (Heated March-November) This is nicer and more affordable than a hotel!

The corner unit has three extra windows so you have a 180 degree view of the beach and Gulf, from the comfort of your sofa. (Once you step into a corner unit, you won't be able to go back to an interior one! And don't be fooled, only corner units on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors have extra windows...) You can also sit on the private balcony and watch for a glimpse of the dolphins playing in the waves.

Perfect for families and affordable for couples, this one bedroom unit is loaded with extras to make your stay enjoyable. My husband and I have two children so we know how to make a place 'kid friendly'. We have put a lot of thought into setting up the Condo and have two TV's, DVD players, stereo, dvd library, board games, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys there for you to use. Of course there is also a fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer if you need them!

The layout is great for kids. There is a bunk area and dresser in the hallway (my kids love the bunks!) that can be totally shut off from the rest of the unit. There is a door to the private bedroom with a king bed, and a pocket door between the bunk area and living area. Why pay for a two bedroom place, when all you really want is a place where you can put the kids to bed and close a door?!

Emerald Skye is a low density building (only 36 units) so the beach in front doesn't get jam-packed like it does in front of some of those giant high-rises. There is an elevator, covered picnic area, and an outdoor heated pool. Extra storage lockers on the ground floor give you a place to stash sand-covered stuff on your way to and from the beach. Our locker is fully stocked for you!

If you aren't familiar with Orange Beach, it is an awesome location. We have a little library of guidebooks and area information in the Condo for you to use. You can golf, shop, parasail, bike and hike in the state park, eat at great restaurants, go to the Blue Angel Museum or the Battleship (getting tired yet?) or you can hang out on the beach all day, and have pizza delivered in at night. The choice is yours!

Birthday Trip

Condo was great and the view was amazing! There were plenty of towels and washcloths (more than what is usually providedin vacation rentals). The owner immediately answered my telephone call at night and was very kind. Definitely would rent again.

It's all about the beach!!!

If you want to be right on the beach with a fantastic view and easy access to sugar white sands and the sound of waves, this is a great choice. What a cute unit, with a fantastic view on 2 sides! Having the corner unit meant double the view. The balcony is a great size, so breezy and did I mention the view? Listening to the sound of waves and seabirds while drinking morning coffee and watching for dolphins....does life get any better than this? Would love to stay there again.

Peaceful Beach Trip

Everything was as outlined and the condo was fantastic with minimal people. Room was clean and check in and check out was very streamlined. Our only suggestion might be - it is time to change out the toilet that is just over a foot off the ground to a more modern one.

Million Dollar View

Condo was exactly as described. Close to everything, great beach access, comfortable and what a view! You get to see the sunrise in the morning over the ocean and the sunset in the evening. The balcony is the perfect breakfast spot.

My husband and I grew up in Pittsburgh PA, but always loved the beach. After jobs took us to Clearwater, FL and Wilmington, NC, we moved to Daphne, AL about 20 years ago with our two children and fell in love with the area. We purchased this unit at that time. (Emerald Skye 41, VRBO 37135) Jobs then took us to Columbus, OH and Kansas City, MO over the next 20 years but we were back to our beloved Gulf Coast several times a year. We purchased a two bedroom in 2011 (Surfside Shores 2305, VRBO 351644) and then in 2020 purchased a three bedroom (Legacy 402, VRBO 2314352). Janet has been managing the condos herself all this time.

We always knew we would be back full time, and in 2022 took the leap and moved into a house in the area! We can enjoy the Gulf Coast life and take even better care of our guests.

I manage the rentals myself, allowing me to keep costs low. We have have a great housekeeper and maintenance man, and pride ourselves on being super responsive to our guests! Our Condos have developed a loyal following of repeat visitors and we hope you become one of them!

Why they chose this property

There are very few affordable oceanfront units these days, and even fewer on a low density stretch of beach. We loved the unit and the beach from the moment we stepped inside!

What makes this property unique

We love the beach, at any time of year. We love watching for dolphins and see them most every day playing around the pier. I am an amatuer photographer, and I am up at sunrise every day taking pictures...My children and husband are tolerant about my photo shoots, as long as I don't expect them to wake up early or pose! Shopping, siteseeing, and eating out are always fun, but for us, it is all about the beach.
