This Elk Mt retreat was perfect for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well-equipped with a large prep island. The table perfectly seated our 8 adults for meals and lots of games. We appreciated the washer/dryer and comfy recliner seating in the great room, and the beautiful Christmas tree and garlands were a great touch for our festive gathering. We would 10/10 stay here again!

Perfect Mountain Getaway - Secluded AND Close to Town

Elk Mountain Escape is a beautiful property that’s well appointed and makes for a very comfortable stay. The view is incredible and long range to watch the weather come and go. We enjoyed the fire pit, pool table, and spacious quarters that allowed our group plenty of space to spread out and be together. The kitchen is clean, large, and outfitted with new appliances and a wide sink. Perfect for our needs and cleanup during and following meals. For us, the location was the perfect blend of seclusion and close proximity to Asheville and Weaverville. The host is responsive and welcoming. Our group is already talking about planning a return trip. Thank you, Elk Mountain Escape!
