The Space:

A Whale of a Time is a 5 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom beachfront property centrally located in the Cloon subdivision. This two-story, 2200 square foot home has room for a large family, comfortably sleeping 16. The home offers two decks, gorgeous coastal decor, and unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. You just can't get much closer to the beach!



The comfortably furnished living area features a large TV and high speed internet for your convenience. It opens up to a large dining table, and a modern kitchen perfect for preparing and serving all your favorite meals. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need, including a Keurig coffee maker.

There are two primary bedrooms, each within a king bed and ensuite bath. Bedrooms three and four feature a set of queen bunk beds in each, and the final bedroom features 4 twin bunk beds. There is one full bath and an additional half bath on the main floor.



In addition to the upper and lower deck, on the ground level you will find a fenced yard, bar area and charcoal bbq pit - perfect for grilling and outdoor entertaining! The sand shower is perfect for washing away the day at the beach before you head upstairs.



Cargo lift available for additional fee. Small dogs (under 35 pounds) allowed with an additional fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

Comfortable Experience

An amazing view of the beach. The sunrise and sunset were amazing to watch at the balcony. There was a tiny issue with roaches, but other than that , everything was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back !

Family Beach Thanksgiving trip

We had our Thanksgiving family get together here. It is a beautiful house, lots of room, and literally right on the beach! Would def rent this place again! The only thing is that not very much cups, plates, and stuff like that so def bring plastic cups and paper plates.

Extra charge for the bed sheets

Despite a great feedback, I assume extra charge for the bed sheets will be adversely affected on your service and I would suggest not to exclude the charge when you breakdown the service costs. Thank you!

Reviewer Comments: Location: The home was perfectly located on the beach with sunrise view every morningInterior: the Home is fairly new and all decors were pretty and professionally coordinated.Bugs Infestations: We found coach roaches in the dishwasher machine twice. A whole flying ants army in the upstairs bedrooms and front door. It was a great home to recommend to friend and family if there were NO bugs issue. However, we are hesitate to recommend due the bug issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very Comfortable, great amenities and close to everything. Beach was fun, but teribbly dirty. Allot of plastic and trash. They did clean the Beach Monday and Tuesday, much better after that. House was great, was in clean condition when we arrived and we left it in that condition as well. The Windows were not shut all the way, during a storm water leaked in through the downstairs from windows and door. We were able to close the windows another inch and get them to seal shut. This also helped cool the house, first night or two was warm because of the humid air coming through the windows. Once we closed them the house cooled right down. Loved the house and the folks running the management Co. Was very close to the Big Store, everything we forgot was available there, great place.

Overall the house was great and was clean and as described, however, the kitchen was seriously lacking in dishes and other basic items. 75% of the cabinets were empty. There was also a ton of sand underneath the house. I've stayed in many beachfront properties and never seen sand under a house like this - I'm not sure if this is something housekeeping usually cleans up and it was missed, or if the sand is there because the dunes are almost gone. Either way, the space in the house was great and I would recommend this rental to others.

Awesome beachfront beach house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family vaca with 10 people! The house is located on a busy area on weekends, but the week days were perfect! It's located right on the beach. So convenient! Don't even need a golf cart to bring things. It was clean and in order. I suppose the cabin is new because some of the bedroom shades had not been installed yet! Also we were disappointed that the fence had fallen down. That might of happened because of the last hurricane. We immediately had to go to the store for hand soap, toilet paper, and dish soap's. There is only 6 wine glasses, so we purchased some for the cabin. Only 10 plates for a a house that sleeps 16. I just list these thins in case the owner is unaware. It's a great spacious cabin, wonderful beachfront! A perfect family home!
