PECAN CREEK LAKEHOUSE IN HORSESHOE BAY is more than just a vacation rental....it is a legacy home endeavor in 2015 by a family of builders, architects and aspiring designer. We are happy with how our Texas Farmhouse came to life and we are thrilled to share it with other families.

Pecan Creek Lakehouse is located next-door to the Horseshoe Bay Resort and nearby charming Marble Falls. Our Texas farmhouse offers 4000 SF of space for your group to spread out with 3 primary bedrooms with King beds, a great room with wood-burning fireplace, chef’s kitchen and laundry room on the first floor. The second floor features 2 bunk-rooms for the kids and a playroom for movie watching with a Queen Murphy Bed and Queen pull out sectional. The house sleeps a whopping 24 comfortably in beds with high-end mattress and luxury bedding.

Our chef's kitchen will make any private chef or caterer happy as a clam with a giant serving island and commercial appliances. Our large wood-burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs are perfect for any night of the year, and our double stacking LG Wash Towers can handle large groups. We have board games, luxury linens & towels, high-end kitchenware and original art throughout. We’ve thought of every detail in this Texas farmhouse-chic inspired design with furnishings throughout from Pottery Barn, Anteks and William Sonoma.

We have kayaks, fishing poles, ping-pong, poker table, board games and tons of outdoor wildlife! The sunsets are majestic and the Texas stars, fireflies and the owls in the trees will transport you to a peaceful place written in old western stories.

We look forward to hosting your family in a this truly special place we call Pecan Creek Lakehouse.

This was such a beautiful property! It was the perfect spot for my family to celebrate my parents' 65th anniversary! From the gourmet kitchen to the spacious bedrooms, to the big back yard for the kids to run around in - couldn't have asked for better! No detail was spared by the owners! We had 16 adults at this house for a long weekend and everyone had a great time. The beds were all very comfortable and having 4 bathrooms was plenty. We made several meals inside and outside and found everything we could need to cook with.If you come with a big group, you'll have a wonderful time.

Perfect for a group

We really enjoyed our stay at Pecan Creek Lakehouse. While the weather wasn’t ideal, the house provided everything we needed to make the most of it. We had a big group and were able to spread out all over the house and not feel cramped. House was in perfect shape and had everything you needed for cooking and entertaining. Our group had questions during the stay and Lori, the homeowner, was super responsive and welcoming of our questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property with a great home and a great outdoor space for fellowship and playing in the backyard. The canal offered us a great opportunity to fish in the morning and swim in the afternoon. The property manager did a great job communicating. We even left something behind by mistake in the kitchen and she worked with us to mail it back. Great overall experience and we will look to stay again!

Excellent Property for a Large Family with Lake Access.

The owner's of this property had excellent communication, were easy to reach and lovely to work with. The property worked great for 15 of us. We had a 23' wake boat that we docked overnight along the bulk head. The creek is as shallow as 2.5' but we were able to navigate it slowly headed out to the lake. The house was very clean and was a perfect family reunion. I highly recommend this property.

A Great House for a Girl’s Weekend!

We enjoyed our annual girl’s trip at the lake house. It was spacious and as beautiful as the pictures. The large kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The dining table was perfect for game night and group meals. The backyard was huge and the view was so relaxing. We even used the fire pit. The group enjoyed seeing the deer in the yard everyday. Terry & Helen were so welcoming and kind. We highly recommend this home!

ranquil Lakeside Retreat Perfect for Family Getaway

Our recent stay at Pecan Creek was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene beauty of the surroundings and the warmth of the welcoming front porch. One of the highlights of our trip was the ample opportunities for outdoor fun. The lake provided endless entertainment, whether we were fishing, boating, or simply soaking in the stunning views. Our kids were in their element, and we cherished the quality time spent together as a family. Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundant wildlife, as we were fortunate enough to spot numerous deer during our stay. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit and enjoying smores and night time fishing of course! As for the accommodations themselves, we found the house to be impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The layout was spacious and versatile, perfectly suited for both intimate family gatherings and larger groups of friends. Overall, our stay at this lakeside retreat exceeded all expectations.

Wonderful place to stay, very spacious

The house was better than expected (pictures don't do the space justice). I loved the huge open downstairs, large kitchen island, large pantry, huge fridge/freezer. My family of 16 had zero complaints about space which is saying a lot. If you bring a boat to the house, keep the motor (trim) up high because the water is low in the canal (my kids could stand in some places) but the kids had a great time playing and swimming in the canal too. We used the grill, the coffee maker, the wine cooler, all with no issues. FYI, the on/off switch for the wine cooler is under the sink on the island. The kids loved the kayaks too. They are all one-seaters and two of them are only 130 lbs max. The other two were suitable for adults though. There were fishing poles too but bring your own hooks and bait if you want to use them.

Family Birthday Celebration

The house was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The kitchen well equipped. Also available we’re kayak’s, tubes, and fishing rods which we had a lot of fun with. We spent our evenings creekside and the kids were really thrilled with all the fish they caught. A wonderful family gathering.

This property is everything described in the listing and more! It may have been the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. So incredible spacious. Perfect for large group and lots of little ones! Huge, well-equipped kitchen, massive island, amazing covered patio with double grills, and the backyard…absolutely stunning. We spent a lot of time soaking up sun and fresh air on the dock. Even caught a fish! The beds and linens were so comfortable! Great location…feels so secluded but only minutes away from cvs, H-E-B, boat rentals and more. The property owners were extremely responsive and you can tell how much they care for and love the property. Honestly I can’t say enough about this place…we will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Christmas in Texas Hill Country

Modern, well-maintained property and friendly, helpful owners. Two-tiered backyard deck is great for entertaining, as is the open concept family room and kitchen. The owners had the place decorated for Christmas.
