The property was in really poor condition. This actually made our vacation have a not so fun element of dealing with house issues. I would not recommend this rental at all due to the major issues we encountered.
Property was great with so many amenities. I’ve stayed in a lot of rental properties and this one was the best hands down. Sky light in the “kids” room is alittle inconvenient but that was our only complaint! Would definitely recommend anyone stays here!
The lodge was well supplied and cozy. Despite staying during the coldest weekend in western Washington, we kept warm with blankets and fireplace. The location had good amenities and we did not have any complaints!
Would totally recommend!
We loved our stay. It was very comfortable for our group of 5. Had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and some dinners at the home. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Beds were comfortable. No complaints. FYI. The house does back up to a busy highway, but you cannot hear the traffic when you are inside the house. And if you are addicted to TV (we are not), there is no TV in the main living space; they are in some of the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.
The place is a disaster. Outdoor area was unkept, weed whacked or long cut recently, cut grass all over everything and weeds and sticker bushes feet tall. Raised flower beds full of sticker bushes and weeds. Ant infestation in hot tub, truly sickening but worse was the odor. It smells like someone died inside of it. Floors filthy. Cobwebs built up in all corners. Windows filthy. Bathroom mirrors gross. Chose rental for a wedding which was disclosed. Rented for the weekend for bride and groom to have a relaxing evening before wedding day. Hot tub big factor, also covered area advertised was big factor. Both were unusable. Thankfully I did get it for 2 nights, had to spend the first one cleaning and doing yard work to make it work. I contacted the host. He dismissed me. Said we could serve dinner in the carpot. Said he would send his son out but no one showed.
I loved our stay here. The property manager was very responsive, the kitchen was well set up, and the space was open and inviting. The views of the mountains were amazing. The main road was closer than I thought but the design of the property gave you a lot of privacy while not taking away from the beauty of the peninsula. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the hockey table and hot tub and exploring the grounds.
