About this property

Spruce Run Hideaway, Log Cabin Alone On 245 Acres Of Forest, Lewisburg Pa

Located behind a gated drive at the end of the paved portion of Spruce Run Road you will enjoy absolute privacy during your stay, not seeing another person or vehicle for your entire time. Very secluded, being nestled at the base of the Nittany Mountain and bordering the Bald Eagle State Forest Lands, but only a 15 minute drive to downtown Lewisburg & Bucknell University.

Only a 15 minute drive from historical Lewisburg, this special spot allows our guests to enjoy the freedom and restfulness that nature has to offer as well as to be able to take a trip to see local sites & visit the many area restaurants.

Enjoy evenings around the campfire with complimentary firewood for your stay.

Hunting rights are available during your stay for an additional charge. Please email for specifics.

Snowmobilers: Access the many miles snowmobile trails through the PA State Forest just off our driveway at the end of Spruce Run Road.

Amazing getaway
We loved the property the minute we open the gate and drove down the driveway. When we opened the door we were amazed how beautiful and clean it was. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We ventured out during the day driving around in Bald Eagle State Forest and found lots of scenic views and trails to drive through. The entire stay was fabulous looking forward to our next visit.

Grils Get Away
Celebrated my 65th birthday. The girls loved the cabin, its so clean and stocked with everything. They want to make it a yearly thing now. Supplying the sheets and towels is a big plus. Love it here and will be back!!!

Another perfect weekend
This is our 3rd stay and like the first two, it was a perfect weekend. This time we received about 4” of snow. That made it fun taking our long walks through the woods and looking for signs of wildlife tracks. Our dog loved it too. We will be back in a few months. We did two February stays and one in September. We prefer the winter stays The Morrison’s

Nice Get Away Spot
Nice spot, quiet with lots of walking trails. We were disappointed the satellite TV and the gas fireplace did not work. We would definitely rent this cottage again.
