House was perfect for my family, great location and had everything we needed. Kids loved fishing even though they didn’t catch anything but sticks lol. Will definitely be back.
Great place to stay! Beds very comfortable! Nice property. Would love to come and stay when its warmer outside to enjoy the porch. Kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. Thank you for sharing your place!
We enjoyed our stay here. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space, and fire pit. Could use some new sheets and towels. Also, coffee would be nice especially since it's 20 minutes to nearest food.
Excellent place to stay for those who enjoy fishing! Spacious and clean. Great outdoor seating to watch the bugs rise off the water. I will return for sure.
Always a good time here, love the creek in the back, stocked just upstream, caught a few rainbows off the steps.
Place is always clean and well stocked.
We were very pleased with the place , large bedrooms, kitchen and living being open. Teenage granddaughter enjoyed the fishing and hiking at area trails. Setting by campfire and watching all wildlife and creek was great! We would go back again 5 star stay..
Really above average accommodations right on Penn's Creek. Steps from the water, and the fishing did not disappoint.
Will continue to use this cabin into the future.

The pictures do not do this justice. The home is BEAUTIFUL, the area is relaxing and the owner was quick to respond to every text I sent!! We went out to eat once and went to a reptile zoo once and the rest of the time was spent relaxing in the creek. This was by far the best, most relaxing, vacation my family and I have been on and we can’t wait to go back!! Thank you so much for opening your home to us!!

Great!
The cabin was great. Everything was in great condition, the cabin could not be in a more beautiful location, and is well stocked with amenities. Frank was very responsive to all questions and even dropped off fresh propane for the grill once we got there and recommended fishing spots. Highly recommend!
The best Cabin for the best price in hundreds of miles
We were blown away by how great our stay was at this cabin. My friends and I wanted a place to stay while we went hiking. Though we went in January and it was the weekend of 6 degree weather so not much hiking was done but we did do a lot of relaxing away from the wives, played cards and went to great breweries restaurants around the area. This cabin is truly the optimal place for a relaxing get away. The area is awesome and the cabin was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend it and our host was quick to communicate. I would give it 10/10 if I could.
We stayed here this past weekend. We were attending our nephew's wedding at a nearby venue and used this as our "home" base for the weekend. It was a lovely home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, kitchen, etc. (We loved the humorous cabin signs/decor in the living room.)
It is located in a wooded area, so there were a few insects like bees and we saw an ant or two, but nothing major and its expected in the woods. The cabin was clean, well stocked with essentials, and even had a selection of toys and games you can utilize.
We wish we had more time to actually be there and enjoy the screened-in back porch and patio area along the creek. If you are going to have time outdoors and enjoy the creek/wildlife you won't be disappointed. (I missed it, but my husband spotted a fox outside and some of our other family staying with us saw quite a few deer in the yard also.) My daughter had to walk into the creek also, even if it was just for a few minutes.
Would recommend staying here if you are looking for cozy comfort in a clean cabin in a quiet spot.

About the host
Hosted by Franklin Reber
My name is Franklin Reber. My wife Theresa and our children Derek and Brittany have spent all our lives enjoying the beauty and recreation of Penn's Creek. We purchased this property as a home away from home. I was a Construction contractor for 28 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University as well as a Masters in Education. I am currently employed as an Instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology. My wife Theresa has been a licensed beautician for more than 30 years. My son and daughter are both Penn State Graduates as well. Our daughter is now teaching in Phoenix Arizona and has a Masters degree in education. Our son works through Career Link to help youth from several school districts find future careers.
Why they chose this property
We had been looking for an affordable property on Penn's Creek for more than 20 years. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting along the creek and listening and watching both the wildlife and water. My son and I have fished Penn's Creek since we were both old enough to walk. My entire family canoed these same waters over that span as well as hiking to the tunnels.
What makes this property unique
We have worked hard to offer a clean safe rental. A place to relax and collect your thoughts or enjoy the outdoors. This cabin is not and will not be tolerated as a party house for immature individuals.
