We just spend a long weekend at Hoosick Farms. Unfortunately the master bedroom was infested with flies but the host tried his best to solve the problem.The kitchen needs platters for serving big groups, more kitchen towels and maybe more than 1 bath towel per person. Great pool an awesome big table and the views are spectacular.The

Amazing property! Perfect for our crew of 20. House had everything we needed! Perfectly clean house. Stores and sandbar near by was awesome. Pool and hot tub were excellent. Game room and common areas were great. We’d come back!

This property has ample amenities to satisfy most everyone. We set up a 9-hole bucket golf course and a soccer net for our four grandsons on the spacious outdoor lawn, with room to spare. The fishing pond was a big hit for everyone as well as the large swimming pool. There was plenty of indoor space and all eleven of us could be comfortably seated at the large dining table. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms and common areas very clean. The garage where we stored fishing gear. golf clubs, and coolers, however, could use some TLC. The views from the front porch and second floor balconies were very picturesque and serene, especially at sunset. The property's location is somewhat isolated from nearby homes, and deer and turkeys frequently visited and created a little added excitement. The property was very pet friendly with lots of room to run outdoors and had a dog-door leading from the garage to rear entrance. Our host was very responsive and communicated quickly to our questions and concerns. The local golf course, which we played twice during our stay, was less than ten minutes away. One tip: if you use a hair dryer, bring one. We had a wonderful time during our annual family vacation that was only enhanced by this property's amenities and location.

Spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our stay. Some interior details felt a bit awkward and dated, but overall it worked well for our family group of 16. We loved the long dining table. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Nice outdoor space for games. We weren't real keen on the downstairs king bedroom/powder room, and the pool table and ping-pong table didn’t get a lot of use being in the basement and right outside the bedroom. We would give the owner 5 stars; when we had a question for George, he responded immediately.

Perfect for our family reunion

The house was generously sized to fit our group of 12 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and explore. The pond was fantastic and we all fell in love with Gary the resident duck. Indoor pool and hot tub were excellent and clean. The views from the porch were incredible! We had some very hot weather and the AC kept up pretty well. If planning to cook and serve own meals would recommend bringing large disposable bowls and serving trays. If catering, highly recommend Chickadee Catering. On the “must” list is Baker’s Dozen bakery just a mile or so away on Church Street for excellent baked goods and sandwiches. Overall a great place for a family getaway!

Excellent family birthday gathering

So glad we booked this place. We were a group of 14 (9 adults and 5 kids). The check in process was very straightforward, house was clean and everything was easy to use ( no long instructions or complicated process). House was big enough for the kids to run around ( inside and outside), we went hiking and for mornings walks, played football and baseball outside. You can go fishing but we didnt do it on this trip. The pool was warm and great for everyone. Great space with TV to watch the games. Kitchen had enough pans to cook. The checkout process was very simple. Will be coming back. Thank you for having us.

There was plenty of room for all of us. The kids enjoyed the pool loved fishing in the pond. Everything was as described. Definitely a great place to rent.
