Welcome to the Nighthawk Cabin! This one of a kind, custom cabin is nestled in the hills overlooking Nakoma Resort. You’ll be blown away by the spacious layout, luxurious upgrades, breathtaking views and secluded privacy.

Optional resort access is $20 per person per day and includes Olympic swimming pool & Jacuzzi (heated year round), fitness center, rock climbing, basketball, movie theater, little kid’s & big kids playrooms, bar & bistro, locker rooms with steam showers & towels.

The Nighthawk Cabin is a one of a kind architectural masterpiece, designed with the utmost comfort and enjoyment in mind. The home boasts five bedrooms (including private queen suite with kitchenette!), 3 & 1/2 bathrooms, and optional five star resort access. With an 18 hole championship golf course, spa, and five star dining on site, this is not your average cabin in the woods.

Located in the community of Nakoma/Gold Mountain, the hidden gem of the Lost Sierra, is a property that is sure to impress even the most discerning guests. With high end finishes, pillow top beds, a fully equipped chef’s kitchen, central heat and A/C, and many thoughtful touches and unique accents throughout, the Nighthawk Cabin is a spectacular hideaway where you can unwind in serenity and escape from the hustle and bustle.

MASTER

The grand master suite is located on the ground floor and equipped with a plush king size bed, smart TV, and oversized soaking tub, as well as a spacious walk-in closet. It also has private access to the back patio and sitting area with expensive views.

ROOM 2

This ground level bedroom has a plus Queen Murphy bed and a plush queen Murphy bed and 50 inch smart TV. There is also a sitting area with propane fireplace for ambiance and forest views. This room has a shared bathroom with walk-in shower.

ROOM 3

This upstairs bedroom has an inviting queen pillow top mattress, 50 inch smart TV, and lovely views! This room has a shared bathroom with walk-in shower.

ROOM 4

The upstairs family room has a comfortable queen pillow top mattress as well as twin with trundle, 50 inch smart TV, and a desk/workspace. This room has a shared bathroom with walk-in shower.

ROOM 5

Private queen suite with kitchenette and full bathroom has a separate entry, and is located above the garage. The queen suite offers privacy and a very comfortable pillow top queen bed, 50 inch smart TV, dining area, futon/sitting area, and kitchenette, plus a private bathroom with walk-in shower and beautiful views!

LIVING ROOM

A spacious sectional couch and surroundsound with a massive 70 inch smart TV make the living room a wonderful place to gather and enjoy quality time. (fireplace is decorative) The central heat keeps the home nice and toasty all winter long. We also have powerful A/C, for a cool and comfortable summer stay.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Gold Mountain/Nakoma is a private, gated community in beautiful Plumas County, California offering five star dining at the onsite restaurant, fifty44. Gold mountain is dark sky community which means it is exceptional for stargazing and quiet mountain enjoyment.

There are five phenomenal golf courses within 15 minutes as well as several local wedding venues. The Gold Lakes area has many lakes, the Middle Fork feather river, and endless hiking/biking trails. There are countless opportunities for outdoor recreation from spring through fall. During the winter, the resort offers snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snow tubing based on weather and availability (with Resort access upgrade and an additional fee)



*Optional resort access must be requested after booking, with a minimum of one week advance notice. Cost of entry is $20 per person per day and a resort e-waiver must be signed by all parties prior to arrival.

You’ll have the whole home to yourself. Be sure to request resort access with the property manager, and ask if you need help making reservations at the spa, golf, local dining, or anything else at all. It’s our pleasure!

The property manager is available between 6 AM and 10 PM and is always happy to help with any and all requests.

You’ll need a car to get around, parking is free in the driveway or garage. No street parking is allowed in the community.
