About this property
Off the Beaten Path: Cottage for families and fisherman.
Renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with additional 3rd loft bedroom to host both families and fisherman alike. It's ready for the rental market, and we are hoping you love the seclusion as much as we do.
Simple unloading from your vehicle at the front door will take you directly to the living room and family area. Although a small space, families can hang out on the couches, big dining table, or the 30 square foot kitchen bar for laughter and games. Under the stairs, there are many different family games ready for you. Whether you come in summer, winter or fall, the home offers ample opportunity to reconnect with loved ones.
There are three main sleeping areas. A children's bunk-room with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 kids). The upstairs will take you to the cutest knook with a full sized bed and will make any occupant feel cozy and tucked in. Finally, the third bedroom is the master, and has a queen sized bed with large closet.
There are two brand new and renovated bathrooms. The guest bathroom has a huge soaking tub, and with all gas powered water heater, you will always have enough hot water. If you have kids, they will enjoy the double sinks. The master has a walk in shower and full bath, which is a brand new addition to the home.
The outdoors is also a space where you can connect with 3 different porches, you can unwind no matter which door you leave from. On over a 1.5 acre lot, kids can throw a baseball, frisbee, or play some horseshoes in the backyard. If kids want to learn how to fish, a small pond, which is part of our property is also available to fish. Brim, Bass, Crappie, and Catfish can all be caught on the pond. If you're up for adventure, kids can also trail-blaze through the woods to a small creek directly behind the home in search of other critters to learn from. Wanna cook some smores? We also have a fire pit ready for your campfire adventures with children.
No matter what month, this rental offers opportunity for exploration. Clemson university is 25 minutes away. Use this as home base for any home game, or if adventure is what you seek, then both Lake Jocassee boat ramps, and lake Keowee boat ramps are both 4.2 miles away. There is ample parking for a boat, and we even offer electrical and water to wash your boat or prep it for your next outing.
There is so much to explore in this area, you could stay for a month and not see it all. Hiking, Fishing, camping, and exploration are in abundance in both Oconee and Pickens counties.
We hope you decide to stay here for a while. Send me a message for additional information.
