The PERFECT Stay!

My husband and I booked this house for our honeymoon, and the hosts exceeded our expectations! The house was immaculate and so spacious! We had everything we could've possibly needed there (including Shout that I had to use twice because I cannot wear light colors apparently haha)! I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a laid-back vacation! The island is beautiful and the house is 5 minutes from what I consider the "downtown" area and about 10 minutes from the state park! The outdoor shower was so nice and helpful after a long beach day, and the dock was awesome! PS check out Island Espresso! Their coffee is SO good and they also have yummy dirty sodas!

Amazing

This was my second visit to Belle Vue this year and I am already looking forward to returning. As I mentioned in my initial review, the house is truly remarkable, fully equipped with all the essentials and the hosts are exceptionally welcoming. They have put a tremendous amount of effort into making the outdoor area both stunning and enjoyable. The house is perfectly situated on the bay, with a pier and seating area at the end which offers beautiful views of the sun setting. It is an incredibly tranquil and peaceful experience staying here. I highly recommend it.

Amazing

The owners did an excellent job ensuring Belle Vue is a place you want to return. Being located on the bayside of St. George Island ensures the most serene and peaceful experience. Their outside space is first class along with the pier and seating area at the end of the pier. The inside area is beautiful, bedding is extremely comfortable, and you do not lack for anything. I recommend highly and look forward to my next trip there.

Our visit was amazing and we did not want to leave.

The house is beautiful and the back is amazing as it looks out over the water. The kids loved the dock and enjoyed playing in the water and fishing. Mr granddaughter actually caught a baby shark. The sunset and sunrise from the boat dock are absolutely amazing. My girls enjoyed walking over to the beach to search for seashells and all four kids explored the whole island on bicycles. We made wonderful memories. Thank you for letting us use your little piece of paradise.

Great family get away!

This home was extremely clean, even for this Type A. The dedicated beach access was a short walk away and while we brought our own chairs and beach towels, they were provided for guests’ use at the house. The hammock stands are also a great feature, if the weather allows for it. The first floor under the main house was a great space to relax and look at the bay with swings and Adirondack chairs. The owners were very communicative and thought of almost everything you could need at the home. Recommend this for families given the proximity of the two guest bedrooms and shared hall bath. My husband and I exclusively used the outdoor shower which was very large and convenient after a sandy day on the beach.

Absolutely Stunning

Wow! Belle Vue is absolutely stunning, well-stocked, clean, and a pleasure to stay in. The linens and mattresses were amazingly comfortable and the showers are really nice. Kitchen has everything you can imagine.. There is a picnic table, sitting area, and other fun stuff under the home we enjoyed relaxing at! The new dock had perfect chairs for watching the sunrise or sunset or even fishing! One of my favorite things was the outside shower to wash the kiddos off after playing in the sand all day! The views were absolutely breathtaking! I would absolutely stay here again and it quickly became our new favorite spot! We can’t wait to come back and continue our love for this beautiful island!

Amazing perfect stay!

The house and the surrounding property are absolutely gorgeous and so well-maintained! Super private and quiet but not far away from town. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes and it is a private entrance. You can relax on the dock, in the beautiful backyard, or on the porch. Loved the extra space to hang up your hammocks. The house is decorated with a lot of love!! This property is absolutely stunning—the house and grounds are beautifully maintained and full of charm! It offers total privacy and peace, yet is just a short drive from town. The private beach entrance is less than a five-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. We loved relaxing on the dock, enjoying the backyard, or sitting on the porch. The extra space for hanging hammocks was a wonderful touch. The house itself is decorated with so much care and attention to detail—it truly feels like a home away from home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully stocked when we arrived. Jamie went above and beyond, making sure we had the right dishes to cook our Thanksgiving turkey and even stopped by to help us turn on the dock water. Fishing was a highlight—we caught plenty of trout and blue crabs, with two traps provided for easy crabbing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it hard to get up in the mornings! After staying in many homes on the island over the years, this one is definitely our top choice. We can’t wait to come back!

We purchased Belle Vue (Beautiful View) in March 2023. Since that time we have poured our hearts into renovating and updating this little piece of paradise. Our most recent project has been the replacement of the dock. The new dock is approximately 427ft long with 327ft over the water. The water depth is approximately 4ft at high tide. There is a very spacious Terminus, 10ft X 16ft, with chairs that is great for several to enjoy fishing or watching the beautiful sunsets. This fulfills our dream of being able to walk out the door and go fishing!
The inside has new tongue and groove ceilings, new flooring, new sliding glass doors, new bathroom vanities, toilets and has been painted throughout. The décor fresh and inviting.
Belle Vue is our dream come true and we sincerely hope that each guest will love it as much as we do.

Belle Vue is perfect for those who want their own private retreat on the Bay with easy access to the Gulf side beach! Enjoy a private dock and private beach on the Bay or take a short, 4 minute walk to a private, shared beach access onto the Gulf side beach.
Two bedrooms face the Bay with amazing views as well as the living room, dining area and kitchen.
During the summer months the dolphins swim past late morning and then again early evening. They often feed on Mullet close to the docks. The Eagles love our tree by the water and the Kingfisher will often fish along our beach.
There is an outdoor shower with hot water for your convenience after a day of fun in the sun. Walk out to the end of the dock and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
This home is the perfect size for small families, a girls beach trip, guys fishing trip, honeymooners or anyone looking for that special place on the Bay. It is about 2 miles to the State Park and 2 miles to the center of the island where you'll find shopping, an arcade, candy store, St. George Lighthouse and the Blue Pig grocery store.
