Relaxing Home Away from Home! Pets, Private Pool, Steps to Beach- a rare find!

Sea Gem is a relaxing cape cod style beach home located about midway inside the St. George Island gated secure community. If you want a quiet, serene, beautiful piece of paradise— then Sea Gem will be perfect for you and your fur babies!

There are two master suites, one on the first floor and the other upstairs both featuring relacing master baths that invite you to let go of your worries and settle into beach life. Vaulted ceilings in the living room provide an open and airy feel. The home features hardwood floors downstairs and carpeted spaces upstairs (for quiet and fur babies comfort). Each bedroom and the main room have flat panel televisions with ROKU TV. There are DVD players and a DVD library in case of an inclement day or if someone gets sunburned snd needs a bit of time “in”. Sea Gem has a collection of games and jigsaw puzzles for some family bonding. The kitchen is chock full of anything you could need including both a Keurig and a standard coffee maker. Plus, a local owner a gew blocks away is ready to help if you need anything! If you cannot completely "unplug" there is free wi-fi that can run all your family's devices with no buffering!

Rock away with your favorite book or beverage on the covered front porch, or have lunch on the sun deck below while watching the kids splash in the private heated pool (extra heat fee-available only in Spring and Fall). There is a charcoal grill, enclosed outdoor shower, and even a few beach toys! We have a pair of kayaks and a bike or two for the more adventurous travelers! Your linens are all included and there are even beach towels available for your use.

The grounds are neatly landscaped with beautiful native vegetation. There is ample parking (some covered). Beach access is just steps away, directly across the street from Sea Gem (see picture).

Premium linens, with double pillows on Kings and Queen beds, beach towels and cleaning service are also included at Sea Gem and will make your vacation experience a breeze! Enjoy access to the clubhouse and amenities including 2 resort size swimming pools, hot tub, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bike trail, gated security entrance, workout room, and private beaches. *We are pet friendly and allow (1) dog for a $75.00 non-refundable pet fee. If you have an additional pet please contact me and we can make it work.

This property was just perfect for a relaxing vacation. Just steps away from the ocean, and with a lovely pool to relax after spending the afternoon on the beach was just what we needed. The home is stocked with plenty of pots and pans to cook with as well as lots of spices. We really enjoyed the pool. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Very short walk to the beach. Great Location! Easy walk to beach for little kids. House was stocked with everything needed for the beach which was very nice. Beaches were not crowded at all and the location was very private. Pool was so nice to have and provided a great place to relax and swim. Also, very close to grocery store and restaurants. Wish we would have rented additional bikes for the entire family so that we could have explored the plantation a little bit more.

Family Beach Trip

We had a great stay with three generations, including a 3 month old. We brought our own pack and play, but also used the one provided at the house. Everything was great and the location to the beach was very easy for quick visits.

I grew up in Iowa and travelled and lived all over the place! Currently, I live in Tallahassee but I still root for my Hawkeyes!

Why they chose this property

St. George Island is my idea of paradise. I fell in love with Sea Gem when I sat on a rocking chair listening to the ocean and the birds. It's a perfect blend of the gulf beach and privacy. It's not a big sterile rental, but a warm peaceful home that feels cozier than its 2550 sq ft. All this and it's just steps from the sugar sand beach of the gulf for my morning and sunset walks. I fell in love!

What makes this property unique

Some of my favorite things about this Gem are the views from the living room, the table (where I work the crossword), and the fact that I can hear all the birds singing as well as the sound of the surf. If you leave the upstairs master bedroom shutters open, the morning light wakes you up to spectacular gulf views (often of dolphins passing by). The heated private pool is also wonderful (especially at night for star gazing and floating cares away).
