Welcome to your home in the heart of Louisville! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath space provides ample room for you and your guests. Nestled in the middle of NULU, the Highlands, and Downtown, you'll have central access to everything the city has to offer. Whether you're visiting Churchill Downs, exploring the Bourbon Trail, grabbing flights at Whiskey Row, or attending a summer concert, this is the perfect base for your adventures. Relax and create lasting memories in My Old Kentucky Home.

The space
Your stay features a newly renovated home nestled in the heart of Louisville, within walking distance from Downtown Louisville, The Highlands, and NULU. You are steps from the Village Market, a great spot to grab drinks and/or dinner that is part of the Paristown Hall concert venue. There is no shortage of breweries, distilleries, and restaurants within a mile of the home, so there is plenty to offer for anyone staying with us. Feel free to reach out to us for recommendations as well or check out the guidebook.

The home includes three bedrooms that are all decorated with down home, Kentucky charm and are all outfitted with queen beds to provide spacious comfort. Two of the bedrooms also feature dedicated workspaces so you can catch that Zoom meeting at home before you hit the Bourbon Trail. The two bathrooms are clean and modern, with plenty of fresh towels and toiletries for your convenience. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that is perfect for groups to enjoy meals as well as a coffee bar and washer/dryer. One additional highlight of this home is the outdoor space, with a fenced-in back yard and a deck furnished with relaxing seating. You can even see fireworks from the backyard after a Bats baseball game.

Ideal for up to 6 guests. A spacious living room sectional couch is available for a 7th guest if needed, though the home is best suited for six.

The house we rented was very cute, well decorated and comfortable. We had a total of 5 adults staying so we used all three bedrooms. We used uber a few times for short 5-8 minute drive to whiskey row area so it was a good location for where we wanted to visit. Alyssa and Brandon(owners) were very easy to work with and provided great instructions for check in and out process. The house had everything we needed for our week long stay. I recommend.

Was in town for WGU graduation. The house was easy to get to with Google maps. Louisville has a good number of homeless about 3 blocks over we noticed. We also enjoyed the Louisville Slugger Museum while there. The house seems to have everything you would need to stay here on a vacation time frame. We were just there for a short time so didnt use much. Brought snacks and ate out at the local areas, so nothing much to say about kitchen usage. Beds were good. Bathrooms were good. Showers had really good pressure, hot water for 5 people with no one really waiting on hot water. The house does have fenced in back yard for the most part. I didn't let my dog free roam due to some dug under fence areas and a board missing on the back area. The back yard is private though. We had an all around nice stay with no issues. This street does seems to be very busy all hours of the day. Was very surprised to see as many semi trucks traveling it as we did. Neighborhood could use a little cleaning up, but no issues while we were there.

Super cute stay, perfect for a girls weekend. We had everything we needed and the place was clean and nicely decorated. The fenced in yard was a huge perk for my 6 month old puppy. Our stay at this home was very comfortable. We had plenty of space. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The dogs loved the big backyard.
