Family-oriented lagoon-side home in Sea Pines close to Harbour Town

Located less than a mile inside the Sea Pines front gate this updated Carolina Place home has lagoon views framed by traditional South Carolina live oaks. This scene can be enjoyed on the elevated back deck complete with comfortable outdoor seating, and a full size grill. Carolina Place offers owners and guests a large beautiful private community pool and pool area with additional grills, a shaded space, and first come first serve tennis and pickleball courts – just a five minute walk away!

Inside the home, there is plenty of room for the whole family with 3 bedrooms and a sleep-in den area. This home offers a semi-open, updated and fully-stocked kitchen, plenty of seating for dining indoor and outdoor, board games, high speed internet, and cable TV. The master bedroom offers high ceilings and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and shower, as well as incredible lagoon views out of the sliding doors onto the back deck.

Our community includes amenities such as a shared recreation area with a pool (generally open from March to October), a BBQ area and pickleball courts.

PLEASE NOTE: Access to Sea Pines requires a Sea Pines gate/vehicle pass. The Resort is in charge of how these are obtained. There is a weekly charge between $10 and $30 per vehicle. As a guest, you are responsible for these charges. They will be in addition to your daily rental rate. There is also a $200 replacement fee if you lose the pool keys or take them with you

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Return the keys
Please deposit trash in the extra bins in the garage. Don’t remove the bins from the garage. Our cleaners will take the trash to the dump.
Please don't forget to input the code and turn the deadbolt. It's not automatic.
Don't forget to put the pool key back in the drawer! There is a $200 fee for replacing the key.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Don't feed the alligators! A fed alligator is a dead alligator. Alligators live in all brackish waters on the island, including our lagoon.
NO OFF LEASH DOGS. Leash policies at Carolina Place are STRICTLY enforced.
Quiet hours between 10 PM and 7 AM. Houses are close together. Please respect our neighbors.

Great location and awesome host!

We have been coming to Hilton head every year for over 10 years. This house was great for our family! There was plenty of space for all of us and the location was great. We had a short walk to the pool and short drive to sea pines beach. The host was very communicative and helped us tremendously. We would stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay

The location of this house is great and it was also well stocked! We had a slight issue with the internet when we first got there but it was resolved quickly which was great! We should have read the description better bc it would have been nice to have a tv in the master and it doesnt but to be fair it states only one tv in the description and we just missed it. I’d suggest adding one though! Overall a great stay!

We live in Northern Virginia and get down to Hilton Head as often as we can to enjoy the beach, the food and the nature-infused vibe.

Why they chose this property

Carolina Place is quiet and idyllic, located VERY close to grocery stores and the main gate, and offers many amenities including a pool, pickleball and tennis courts and a grilling area. The Forest Preserve is next door and it's about a 15 minute bike ride to the beach.

We also fell in love with lagoons, the live oaks and how meticulously maintained our streets are.

What makes this property unique

Opening the front door and stepping in to a view of the live oaks and lagoon framed by the cathedral ceilings.

As with the rest of Sea Pines, you can occasionally catch a glimpse of alligators sunning themselves in the lagoon - close enough to enjoy but far away enough to still be cute!
