In a great location, 100 yards from the beach and less than 2 miles from the baseball fields... we were there for the AAA World Series tournament and made a vacation out of it. Great staff on the management team, they were very helpful with emails on check in and out procedures, directions, and reminders on what to bring and not leave behind. We really enjoyed this space and would recommend it to others for a nice place to stay, well kept, affordability, and location.

For the last seven years we have gathered together at Shoreline Towers and hav e never been disappointed with our accommodations. This year was just as wonderful. The beach views were amazing but we would have loved to sit on a balcony to enjoy them. The listing on VRBO indicates there is a balcony but Shoreline does not. Next time I will book through Shoreline! They were very helpful! My Mom is 82 so this location was great for her to get to the beach and enjoy the day. The Free Beach Setup was great also!

Found sock and towel in dryer, garbage under couch. Lobby and grounds need a lot of work. The construction has severely degraded both. Location and size of unit are real positives. Sectional is worn and stained, should be replaced.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was hot- had to keep the blinds closed at all times in the unit. The unit stayed at 76 degrees during the day and evening. We couldn’t cook in the kitchen, we couldn’t keep the lights on. Most I’ve EVER spent on a vacation. Truly disappointing.

Cons: clubhouse closes at 4:30 and closed all weekend. Nowhere to meet people. Bridge takes up good part of day with quiet players, library unavailable -- packed with furniture waiting to be delivered. Nowhere to meet people. Unfortunately, pool area was too windy and cold to be out.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We vacation with all our family in Destin every other year and have stayed twice at Shoreline Towers and twice at Silver Beach. Even though it is an older facility, we prefer Shoreline Towers as it is not on the main strip and is quieter. However, our stay at Shoreline this year was disappointing. We stayed in Unit 1086 which needs a lot of TLC. During our stay in late July 2014, the kitchen sink was leaking, the knobs to turn off the light over the stove were missing and the light was on for 3 days before maintenance could turn if off (light shone into the living room where someone was sleeping), and the air conditioning broke - weather was 88-90. The dryer was broken the entire 7 day stay - lots of wet clothes with 4 kids. On our fourth day, the office did provide clean towels and a couple of rolls of quarters for us to use the community dryers on our floor. As luck would have it, one of the two dryers was broken in the community area. I made 3 trips and several calls to the office to get these items repaired and all the repairs required separate maintenance visits. Several items in the unit need to be replaced - the curtains in the front bedroom are yellowed, tattered and have multiple areas of mold on them, the shower rod is rusted and flakes everytime you move the shower curtain, etc. On a positive note, I booked the condo directly with the owner who was very pleasant - maybe he was not previously aware that the unit needed some attention. We would not rent this unit in the future.

The location of shore line towers is perfect for families with kids. However, the property is old and in need of repairs. Condo 1086 really needs a good cleaning! Needs new appliances. The blender didn't even work. Furniture is dirty. Needs TVs, dishes, ceiling fans are loud and vibrate bad. Basically just needs a redo!!! The property needs to update the pool area too!! It's not 1970 anymore.
