House has front & back porches with great views. Central air, washer, dryer, fridge. Home is very private, but is less than 3 miles to Bryson City, N. C., close to Nantahala River. The driveway is partially paved.

Approximately 30 minutes to skiing at Cataloochee.

Approximately 50 minutes to Gatlinburg

We absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and more. The view was beautiful. This was the reason I booked it in the first place. We would definitely stay there again if we ever come back to the great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Everything was in close proximity, but we were still nice and secluded. Each morning my husband stood on the front porch and listened as the wild turkeys gobbled. We saw them at the bottom of the driveway when we left on our last day.We really enjoyed the porches and had our coffee there each morning. We sat in front of the fire to knock the chill off before heading out for our easily accessible adventure. We made sure to be back before dark, however, because some roads were not well marked. We loved it!

The cabin was beautiful and so comfy. Our family came for the Polar Express and it was just a very short drive to the train. It’s secluded but right in the middle of everything. We loved that the cabin was decorated for Christmas! It made it extra special.
