This is an amazing home in Staunton! The pictures are spot on! 3 primate baths attached - who could ask for more! Add to that a chef’s kitchen fully equipped for even the most discerning chef. Comfortable living room. Great walk to downtown for great restaurant choices. This is a gem!!!!

The house was very comfortable and conveniently located to restaurants and shops. Each bedroom has a private bathroom/shower which is a big plus. Parking is adjacent to the house. We hope to stay here again in the not-too-distant future.

Excellent all around. Quiet location, walkable to everything. Chris was incredibly responsive on the couple of occasions when we needed something. I was especially impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was and the lovely, large front porch. Would recommend without qualification to anyone needing a larger place to stay in Staunton.

This charming house was the perfect fit for the six of us. Plenty of room to gather in the living area to watch tv or play games. The kitchen and dining area are very spacious. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms which was perfect for 3 couples. The drive into downtown Staunton was less than 5 minutes and an easy walk down, but uphill coming back. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. We all agreed the beds were very comfortable. Chris is a great host who responds very quickly.

We had a wonderful vacation at Newtown Retreat. The historic home is beautifully restored and very comfortable. It's a real bonus having king size beds for all guests.The location was excellent as we could walk to the downtown areas and numerous restaurants. We really enjoyed exploring Staunton and the beautiful nearby wineries.We highly recommend Newtown Retreat!

5-Star Stay! Perfect Graduation Weekend and Beautiful Home! We had a wonderful stay at this property while celebrating my daughter's graduation from Mary Baldwin University! The house is absolutely beautiful, comfy, and exceptionally clean from top to bottom. It provided the perfect amount of space for all of us—including the graduate, my adult son, and his girlfriend—to comfortably relax and celebrate together. The location is fantastic and made traveling to and from the university events incredibly easy. We highly recommend this home for family milestones and would absolutely stay here again!

The house was perfect for our brewery trip. Location was central for all our day trips. I loved having an ensuite for each bedroom. Kitchen had everything we needed, and having off-street parking was essential. Chris provided all the information we needed to fully enjoy our stay.

Beautiful stay!

We had a great visit - Chris was an excellent host who always responded promptly. The home is clean and a close walk to everything in downtown Staunton and is a nice drive to hikes in the area and Shenandoah NP. I hope to be able to visit again soon, and would definitely want to stay here again.

We had a great stay in Staunton, one of our favorite towns. We usually stay out in the country, but this time we chose to stay in town. Loved the house...loved the location. And thanks to Chris for being such a great host to work with.
