This is a very nicely appointment rental in a fantastic location. Very clean and well organized. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that a few of the beds were too firm for some of our group. Jane was very responsive when we had questions.
We spent our Christmas week here - it was central to all family members and was perfect! It was not only clean and perfectly stocked, but everyone had their own space and privacy! I am SO picky about hotels and rentals and I felt at home here. We could walk to the park with our dog and to the downtown for coffee and meals. We were just a short drive to groceries. The beds were comfy and we made a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen. Jane was responsive and helpful! Would totally stay here again!
This a nice property in terms of location, host responsiveness, easy parking, and decor. However, there are a few things keeping me from giving it 5 stars. The beds are extremely firm. All 5 of us in our group found them quite uncomfortable. We also had an issue with operating the thermostat. It’s a digital unit that isn’t intuitive and doesn’t include any operating instructions. I felt bad that the AC guy who came out to the property late in the evening had to be the one to show us how to use it, but we weren’t able to troubleshoot it on our own. It was stuffy while we were waiting to resolve this issue, and unfortunately, none of the windows can be opened. I understand this from a safety and liability standpoint, but this should be disclosed in the description. I was also dismayed that we had to ask for more towels. I knew 5 towels for 5 women during a three day stay would not be enough. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay despite the hiccups. The living room and big table were great spots for us to hang out at during our girls trip.
