Hi and welcome! We are Shawn and Lisa. Our first rental we named- Marine Life OBX as we are a Marine Corps family, Shawn recently retired, Master Gunnery Sergeant. This is our 2nd vacation rental Sail Away OBX. We recently moved to Corolla where Lisa co-hosts other local vacation rentals. Make sure to check out our other rentals available if this may not be the one for you. We would still love to host your vacation and want nothing but the greatest experience for your family and/or friends.
Why they chose this property
As a guest at SAIL AWAY OBX you have access to the community pool with loungers and outdoor volleyball court. Get in your steps on your scenic 7-8 minute walk to - two beach accesses onto Whalehead Beach, the largest, least crowded expansive beach location in Corolla, all without having to cross any major highways. There is mini golf and ice cream located across the street for a fun evening out. Located near the 4x4 beach wild horse sanctuary, Corolla lighthouse, Restaurants, Whalehead Club, Shopping and more. A perfect place for bike riding, walking on wide open paths, and enjoying nature.
