About this property

Old Florida Bungalow

About this space
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The Old Florida Bungalow is just that. Officially built in 1945, this home has some of its old Florida charm mixed with modern amenities. This house was completely renovated in 2023. The kitchen is large and spacious with an eat in counter. The master bedroom is a couples dream with a gorgeous decorative fireplace, private toilet room, and a oversized shower. The second bathroom has a oversized tub/shower combination.
The space
The house has a very coastal feel with multiple outdoor areas to enjoy including a master bedroom porch with a couples swing. While sitting on the porch, view launches from Cape Canaveral. Listen to the rocket rumble as the spacecraft leave this planet. There is nothing like this sound and never get old.
This home also has parking for a boat trailer or an RV. There is a boat ramp just a couple min down the road at Pollack Park.

Short weekend in Satellite Beach

The property was well maintained and nicely decorated. You can tell the owner has taken a lot of time in keeping the property looking nice. The only drawback was there was not a television in the bedrooms.

Not our best VRBO experience

The property was fine for what we needed … a place to sleep, shower, fix breakfast before heading out and dinner when we got back after a long day.

My wife and I have loved traveling through VRBO through the years. We are both medical professionals. We had the opportunity to buy this house as a flip but fell in love with it as we refurbished it. We have decided to share this very cute home.

Why they chose this property

This neighborhood is within a mile of many of the tech corporations in Palm Bay servicing the government and space industries. It is a quick easy with little to no traffic getting into downtown Melbourne or turning to head to the beach. The neighborhood is quite and the dead end street makes the home very appealing.

What makes this property unique

This bungalow appears to be well over 100 years old. It is listed as a 1945 but clearly is older that. It appears that maybe there were improvements or a addition was put on in 1945. The house was moved to its current location in 1985 to higher ground away from the river.
