Lovely cottage! Accommodations and decor made us feel right at home. Plenty of space for the perfect get away. Location is superb for all of Charlottesville/Crozet area has to offer. Can’t wait for our next trip and stay.

Short Stay

My husband and I (and our four legged friend) stayed in the Hampshire cottage for my husband to receive medical treatment at the `UVA medical center. The cottage was awesome, very clean and the location made trips to the hospital very easy. Since there is construction taking place we looking forward to seeing the final outcome!!

My husband and I came to Charlottesville to visit our daughter who attends UVA.

The Ivy Cottages are in a perfect location. They are situated on farm lands, a quiet, beautiful location. Yet they are close to UVA and downtown C’Ville. We cannot wait to see all the cottages once they are renovated. We had a wonderful time and the listing is exactly as described. We cannot wait to book our next visit.

Charming cottage

We stayed for two nights, after Labor Day, in the Hampshire cottage with our dog. The unit is charming and extremely clean (occasional tiny ants in kitchen) and comfortable. The upcycled furnishings are perfect for the space. It has all utensils needed. The cooktop is gas which is nice. King bed is extremely comfortable. The property contains several other cottages and many of the cottages and the main building are under renovation but I can see the potential and look forward to seeing it completed. The construction was stopped while we were here but there is equipment around. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay while sightseeing during the day it’s great. Monticello is approximately 20 min away. Don’t miss Michie Tavern for lunch. Our dog was comfortable with the small backyard, she’s older and doesn’t need much room. If your pet requires more exercise there are public parks you can drive to.
