Mountain Moonshine is a cozy 2-bedroom cabin nestled in the gated Shagbark Community in Pigeon Forge. With spectacular views of the mountains, this cabin offers seclusion but its proximity to Pigeon Forge makes it the perfect place to get away and still easily enjoy the area attractions. While the cabin can sleep up to 6 guests, its romantic character makes it a lovely stop for a couple, or two, to get away. Two king-bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and private decks, make it easy to spread out privately. There is also a queen sleeper sofa for two more additional guests. The wood burning fireplace (wood not supplied), hot tub on the deck and screened in porch add the perfect touches to rest and relax. Guests will also enjoy a nicely equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, crockpot and outside gas grill. There is also access to resort amenities such as: a seasonal community pool, basketball and tennis courts just to name a few. This deluxe rated cabin offers a lot of bang for the buck and is a can’t miss! Book now!

A dated cabin

My family and I felt like the community was safe, considering everyone that enters goes through the security station. However, the hot tub wouldn’t get hot, a decent warm at around 88-92 degrees. Our check in was at 4:00 pm and we didn’t receive our door code until almost 5:30 pm so we sat outside waiting for a while. The fireplace was very much enjoyable. The cleanliness of the cabin, we would rate it at a 6/10. There was some hair on the floor and on the shower drain.
