THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Indian Beach/Sapphire Shores is a stunning neighborhood with mature trees and remodeled homes that have retained the charm of when John and Mable Ringling lived here. The entire neighborhood sits along Sarasota Bay, where there are two kayak launches that flow directly into the Bay. You can also take a swim in the bay as many locals do, particularly by Sapphire Park, where you might find weekly yoga classes. The neighborhood is within walking distance to the famed Asolo Theater, the Sarasota Ballet, and the Ringling Museum. Also nearby is the new Bay Park and Van Wezel concert and theater venue. The area is great for biking, where you can bike to downtown, or even across the bridge to beautiful Lido Beach. Downtown is home to many restaurants, galleries, and antique shops, but coming back to the peace and tranquility of this stunning home nestled among the trees is a true vacation. Also nearby, University Town Center with many upscale shops and restaurants. This neighborhood is where locals live, it is filled with professionals from college professors to business owners and artists. So close to everything, yet so peaceful and tranquil. The home was built in the 1940’s, but remodeled to reflect all new bathrooms and kitchen, electrical and plumbing. There’s even an outdoor shower for when you come in from the beach. Furnishings are new, as are all of the smart TVs. Come enjoy your stay in Sarasota, and this neighborhood is sure to make you feel right at home.
