Perfect little location located in the heart of downtown Elmira. This location overlooks the Erie train tracks. At the back of the unit just steps away you can will find these great american businesses McDonald's, Weis Supermarket, Walgreens, and much more. Can I also mention this is the only apartment on the block. It overlooks of new world class art works.

FYI: This is the second floor walk up "stairs".

Wonderful place to stay! The property owner was exceptionally cooperative, always accessible, and very helpful. He guided us throughout our trip, provided all the necessary information. The apartment was very nice and cozy, and my family really loved it. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

The only two pluses were that it was clean and the mattresses were comfortable so we slept well.We came at 9:30 p.m. It was so dark we couldn't see where to park. The entrance was dark, and we had to use our phones to determine the codes. It looked like an abandoned building, and frankly it was a bit scary (three women). The stairs were steep. We felt a little safer the next morning when we could a fire station was nearby.There was no paperwork left with the WiFi info or expectations upon departing.We had 2 spoons (for three people), limited amount of other silverware, the sharp knives were almost useless (and we were slicing apples), we were very close to running out of toliet paper, there were no dish towels, limited number of towels, no paper towels.

Always check reviews!!!!This place was not clean. The electronic key pad to enter the building doesn't work properly nor shut the way it should. The long flight of steps up to the apartment dark,stairs dirty, debris&sticky spilled substances. Broken doors on the laundry area. Puddle of water in front of the refrigerator, dirty shelves. Dead bugs on the counters&windowsills;bug traps in every cupboards/drawers in kitchen. Other tenants food in cupboards.Under kitchen sink atrocious with spills/cleaning supplies. Electric stove top has seen better days,it's corroded. Coffee pot filthy&electric base to the unit was rusted. Bathroom had been used cleaned. Dirty floor rugs&tub, nasty non slipmat, other peoples shampoos/soaps left. Broken faucet knobs in tub.Water spots on 4 ceiling tiles, looks still wet.Floors dirty, need swept/mop.Musty smell.
