Your family will be close to all the excitement on Lake Martin when you stay at this incredible Lakehouse in Dadeville. Located in an amazing neighborhood that features a swimming pool, hot tub & fireplace with TV! You can enjoy the lake life as well as the pool. Steel Magnolia is just steps from the water and has a private dock for you to park your boat. The lakeside firepit is a perfect spot to gather after a day on the lake. We provide 2 kayaks and a SUP board for your enjoyment. It is in a private cove that is safe to kayak, swim or float. We offer boat rentals delivered to the dock, fishing charters and even boat tours to all our guests. Ask us for details! Steel Magnolia will quickly become your home away from home and you will have the time of your life with your family!
The space:
Steel Magnolia has 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms that sleeps 12. There are 2 King primary suites on the main level, both with full bathrooms. The family room, dining room and kitchen are all open to each other with a gorgeous view of the lake. The upper level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two queen beds. There is a full bathroom that both bedrooms will share. The loft upstairs has a big tv & sound bar and is a great place to watch a movie or play a game. We have also put a bunk bed in the loft for the kids.
We have gone above and beyond providing our guests with incredible amenities throughout the house. Each bedroom has a tv, sound bar, fan, sound machine, privacy shades and luxury mattresses and linens. Each bathroom has luxurious towels, makeup towels, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hand soap. We also provide you with a great selection of coffees, teas, sweeteners and creamers. We can assure you that there is no shortage on amenities.
We take pride in our attention to detail and incredible customer service. We have a concierge service that can help set you up with boat rentals delivered to your dock, fishing guides, grocery shopping and even boat rides to tour Lake Martin. Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure to start a load of towels. If you use any of the beach towels, please wash and dry those for the cleaner
If you used the grill, please clean it and let us know if the Propane is
Please bring up the kayaks and paddleboard and put the lifejackets away in the bin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Wake Zone when driving through the cove.
No diving off the dock. Always wear a lifejacket when using kayaks or paddleboards. Children must be supervised at all times.
Please only go on Steel Magnolias dock. It is the dock to the right of the yard with 2 chairs.

Steel Magnolia

We stayed as a family of 5 at this property (including a few of our kids’ friends). It was a great place to load up on a pontoon for skiing & tubing but also perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding & floating. The house was tastefully decorated & very comfortable. This is a new development with other homes still under construction, however, we enjoyed our stay regardless! The teens loved being able to go up to the pool & hot tub after dinner & then joining us around the outdoor fire pit for s’mores before turning in for the night:)

Brand new house, great location

What a great house! It's very clear that this is a brand new house, right down to that "new house" smell. It has been beautifully decorated and stocked with almost every imaginable amenity (have you ever been to short term rental that had a bread maker _and_ a corn hole set?!?). There were 9 of us and plenty of beds for everyone. The bathrooms were nice and the kitchen/living/dining area was very spacious, including a walk-in pantry and separate laundry room. We took advantage of the included kayaks (qty 2) and paddle board and enjoyed sitting on the shaded patio, which offered a nice breeze (and ceiling fan) during the heat of the day, and was also a great place to eat the burgers that we made on the included propane grill. I'll also mention that I really liked the location. 15 minutes from Dadeville and less than 30 minutes from Auburn, it's very conveniently located, right off AL-49. The only downside to this property is that the dock is not in deep water. While we were there (Labor Day weekend 2024), there was only about 2 feet of water at the end of the dock. This is about 12-16 inches below maximum full pool level (which is the typical summer level), so while we unfortunately experienced an unusually early draw down of water by Alabama Power during our visit, the water at the end of the dock is never deeper than about 3.7 feet and it gets shallower as you approach the shoreline. Guests that intend to keep a boat at this dock should keep this in mind.

We only take on houses that we would stay ourselves. We pay attention to detail and make sure to provide all the amenities that make your stay top notch. We take pride in our hard earned 5 star reviews and love even more having return guests year after year.
We take it one step further and offer boat rentals, fishing trips, boat tours to our guests. We want you to not only love the house you stay in, but love the experience you have as a family on Lake Martin! We look forward to hosting you!

Magnolia Cove is a new development in the heart of Dadeville, with a family friendly environment in mind. There is a gorgeous zero entry pool and hottub. It all overlooks the lake too! The fireplace has a big Tv to watch any game. Guests love all the loungers and tables for extra seating. The future of Magnolia Cove is exciting too! They are in the process of building a dog park and food truck area.
Steel Magnolia is also close to all the great restaurants in Dadeville by land or water. We also love that it is only 30 minutes from Auburn.
