About the host
Hosted by Cathy Belcher
We live in Cape Coral, Florida, but Key West has held a special place in our hearts for more than two decades. We purchased Seacret Paradise sixteen years ago and have enjoyed it as a vacation home ever since. The charm, walkability, and laid-back rhythm of Old Town drew us in, and we love sharing that experience with others through monthly stays at our home.
We now spend our days with our three teenage boys and our two dogs, Lily and Leia. In addition to managing Seacret Paradise, we also host a second vacation rental—Secret EsCape—in Cape Coral. I serve on the boards of two nonprofits and run small businesses as a Farmasi influencer and Color Street stylist. Hosting allows me to combine my love of design, hospitality, and meaningful service—all in places that inspire us.
During your stay, we’re available if you need anything, but we won’t be on-site. The home and outdoor spaces are completely private for your exclusive use. If you have questions or need local tips, feel free to reach out through the platform—we’re always happy to help and just a message away.
We’re truly honored to host you and hope your month in Key West becomes one of your favorite escapes.

Why they chose this property
We chose this location for Seacret Paradise because it offered the best of both worlds—easy access to the heart of Key West and a peaceful, private place to unwind. Just two blocks from the Key West Express ferry terminal, this neighborhood makes it simple for us to travel back and forth from Cape Coral. It’s also a short walk to the Historic Seaport, where you’ll find waterfront dining, local shops, live music, and excursions like snorkeling, sailing, and sunset cruises.
We loved that we could walk to Duval Street in minutes, but come home to a quiet lane tucked away from the late-night energy. Restaurants like Café Sole, Azur, and Square Grouper are all nearby, making it easy to enjoy amazing meals without needing a car. The neighborhood feels authentic and residential, yet it’s surrounded by everything we love most about Key West—fresh seafood, character-filled streets, and the beauty of the water just around the corner.
As parents, we especially valued being close to the fun while still having a home base that felt safe and removed from the crowds. The lush, private yard gave our kids room to play and us space to relax. Over the years, this spot has given us a deep appreciation for what it means to truly live like a local—relaxed, connected, and always just a few steps from something special.
We’re grateful to be able to share it with guests who want that same mix of access and calm.

What makes this property unique
Seacret Paradise stands out because it offers something that’s increasingly rare in Old Town Key West: true privacy, space, and serenity—just steps from everything. Tucked at the end of a quiet lane off Eaton Street and beside the beloved Old Town Bakery, our home feels like a hidden retreat in the heart of the island. It’s walkable to Duval Street, the Historic Seaport, and waterfront restaurants, yet set back enough to give you a peaceful place to recharge.
Unlike many rentals, this is not just a vacation unit—it’s a fully equipped private home with the warmth and detail of a place that’s been loved for years. With lush landscaping, indoor-outdoor living, and thoughtful family-friendly touches, it offers space to gather, relax, and feel completely at ease. The upstairs bunk room opens to a sunny balcony, the downstairs cabana suite has its own entrance, and every bedroom has a TV for private wind-down time.
Guests often tell us the layout is perfect for groups who want to be together but still have their own space. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast in the leafy courtyard, walking to the ferry for a Dry Tortugas adventure, or grabbing dinner at Café Sole just two blocks away, Seacret Paradise makes it all easy.
We’ve hosted couples, families, and long-term guests who come back year after year. What makes this property special isn’t just the location—it’s the feeling of comfort, ease, and authenticity that sets in the moment you arrive. It’s a place to slow down, stretch out, and soak in the real rhythm of Key West.
