Watch the sun set over Lake Charlevoix sitting on a large covered front porch after you've walked home from dinner in downtown Boyne City - less than a 10min walk along the water's edge. Enjoy Peninsula beach and splash pad adjacent to the Harborage Marina right across the street. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen/dining area, family room and washer/dryer. During the non-winter months, you'll find a lovely patio with furniture and a grill behind the house with a large back yard plush with thick grass. Summer and fall in downtown Boyne City truly is adorable and a great place to vacation with children. Enjoy the farmers market every Wednesday and Saturday along with craft shows at Vets Park. Stroll the streets every Friday night with live music and drinks on the go. Enjoy the commanding views of Avalanche Peak which rises to 1023 feet above Lake Charlevoix providing visibility of any high point south of the Mackinac Bridge. Boyne City is centrally located for travel to Walloon Lake, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Crossroads Village, Mackinaw City and more in under an hour. For winter enthusiasts enjoy skiing and an indoor water park at Boyne Mountain with Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands less than 30 miles away.

Amazing Experience

The pics and description do not even come close to matching the perfection of this cute, summer cottage. The home was in pristine condition. The location was 10/10. We enjoyed beautiful sunset views from the cozy porch most nights, and loved the short walks into town. We are so excited to book this cottage again next year.

Charming Boyne City Cottage

This cozy cottage was full of old time charm, yet with modern touches (the bed mattresses were extremely comfortable, a variety of pillows, washer & dryer, nice coffee maker, toaster etc). The weather was in our favor and we ate many meals outside in the front porch. The location is about a 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Very easy straight shot of a walk. The photos were all accurate. We really enjoyed our stay!

Charming cottage

What a sweet cottage, great location and beautiful sunsets! The house was very clean and was perfect for 4 adults. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and looking out at the marina and beautiful lake. It was an easy walk into town for dining and farmers market. There was a local grocery store that had everything we needed. The house was well stocked with paper goods and basics. Our wonderful host was very accommodating and responsive.

Absolutely recommend this beautiful home!

We stayed for a long weekend at this beautiful 3BD, 2bath home. It is located directly across the street from the gorgeous marina just outside of Boyne City downtown area. The town is within walking distance - lots of restaurants, shops, coffee shops. The marina grounds were a perfect place to walk our dog also. The home is the most well-stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at - including towels, blankets, any kitchen items you might need. It was cold while we were there (October) so did not get to enjoy the nice, big furnished porch area. The view from the porch is gorgeous at the south end of Lake Charlevoix. I imagine during the summer the area is very busy with the boats and tourists. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot!

My family stayed at the Cozy Cottage for my son’s wedding at Dunmaglas Golf Course. It was literally the perfect spot. Very centrally located in town. Restaurants, bars, grocery, and gas within walking distance or a VERY short drive. The house was adorable. Very clean and cottage chic. Plenty of room. Fantastic amenities. Everything we needed-literally. The host was great to work with and extremely accommodating to our particular needs. It made one less thing we had to worry about. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the front porch and the water right across the road. Thanks again for a great weekend!

PERFECT location with great view and walk to town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage for many reasons but the top two were the outstanding location and the perfect front porch with amazing views of Lake Charlevoix and the sunsets! The cottage itself was super charming with furnishings that were vintage/resale. All of the beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom provided enough space for us to have our dog bed on the floor as well. We absolutely loved the location of the cottage relative to the town. I walked our dog into town every morning to get coffee and then we continually made walking trips throughout the day to eat, shop, and just enjoy downtown Boyne City. When not in the lake or walking into town, we spent a great deal of time relaxing on the front porch, enjoying the gorgeous view of Lake Charlevoix over the marina and the sunsets each evening. I'm hoping we can book this cottage again for next summer or sooner!
