Would stay again in a heartbeat! Our family of 12 stayed comfortably in this beautiful home on the Lake. The multiple living areas gave us a place to be together while, at the same time, spread out as needed. The kitchen was more than accommodating for our group size. Outside, the pool was well kept, and being on the lake was spectacular. The paddleboard and kayaks were a hit! The first-floor deck is beautiful for reading and was always partially shaded by the master bedroom. It's not ideal for toddlers, but the long driveway and neighborhood more than made up for that, as it also provided a nice place to take a stroller with our smaller grandchildren. The team worked exceptionally hard to answer our questions about boat rentals, hiking alternatives, and more as we planned the trip. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and it was a great location for our needs. The outdoor space and view are wonderful. It was great having three living spaces. Check in and check out was easy and the management service was attentive. The only negative was a horrible smell at the base of the stairs into the basement bedroom/bath area.

The house had plenty of room for the 10 of us. The pool and dock are great. We brought our boat. The host responded quickly when we had concerns. One thing was remedied immediately, the rest were put in a maintenance order. I don't think the listing and photos accurately depict just how many stairs are in this house. Soooo many stairs!The landscaping is 'in process', so after it rained there was mud in the driveway. Hopefully, that will be completed soon.

Great house!

Such a great family vacation! House was great and the description was very accurate. The pictures show it, but take note this is a house with many stairs. Just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with a group of people who may have problems navigating many stairs. Would absolutely stay again!!

Family Vacation at Lake Norman

My family enjoyed our vacation in this house. It is large and comfortable. The pictures in the listing are accurate - no surprises. It was nice to have a lake view from almost every room. The kitchen is large, and has plenty of cooking equipment. The pool area was clean and comfortable. We used the kayaks and did some fishing right off the dock.

Family Trip

The home and surrounding area were fabulous. Connecting with the property manager was easy and they were extremely responsive. The only knock on the home is the flagstone patio is in need of attention. The grouting has eroded and the stone is sharp and cracked which makes it difficult to walk on especially for the little ones. Otherwise, our stay was amazing. Thank you!

Lots of fun!

House was great! Lots of places to hang out. We really enjoyed the pool. Property manager was easy to contact. Negatives would be sooooo many stairs!! Like a lot of stairs. Also the dock is kinda slanted. Totally doable but just be careful. The house was very well stocked with all the utensils and things you may need. Which was great!

Despite horrible weather, we still enjoyed our stay

It rained five of the seven days we visited Lake Norman. That said, when we return we will definitely consider "Sun Up, Sun Down" and Lakecations! The home was ready and very clean when we arrived. The house is well equipped with everything you will need and arguably the softest towels known to man. The owners and management do a very nice job, actually the best we have experienced, in ensuring there is plenty of towels, soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc for you to immediately function in their home. This was appreciated. You can immediately tell that there has been an enormous amount of money recently invested in this property. The flooring and bathrooms have been nicely updated while the kitchen is next level. The grill options were great with plenty of propane on hand. There are a few small things that still need attention, but they would definitely not scratch this from the short list for next year. The deck is in need of replacement and the master bedroom door doesn’t fully close without a shoulder's help- opening it back up is a chore and LOUD. The main sliders out to the deck are also dated and very difficult to open and close. Again, none of these things made me feel we over-paid for this property. As mentioned, we had rain. The internet was sketchy from time to time, but this could have been due to the storms. The rain also didn't treat the landscape very well. The mulch was completely washed out. They might think about river rock there.
