Enjoy being in a nice quiet community offering traditional country living on Galveston Island. Downtown Galveston and all of its amazing attractions and restaurants are nine miles away. Other amazing local attractions include Magic Carpet Golf, Moody Gardens, Galveston Island State Park, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, The Grand 1894 Opera House, Bishop’s Palace, and the Galveston Railroad Museum.

This snowbird-friendly home has been remodeled to provide you with a fantastic spot to create everlasting memories with your family and friends. Upon entering this ground-floor retreat, you will discover an air-conditioned open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. The living room boasts inviting sofas where you can spread out comfortably as you watch fun shows and movies on the TV. Board games and children's games are also provided for additional entertainment. Show off your culinary skills and prepare exquisite homemade meals and treats in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the essentials that will make cooking a breeze. The home boasts a secluded working space with a desk and a chair where you can join video calls and work remotely.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The driveway is shared with the upstairs retreat.
This house can be rented together with Redicare Resort - Upstairs as Redicare Resort - Entire Property.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
